Carnival cruises are always attempting to boost the quality of their ships and trips in ways that are very innovative. The company attempts to keep their customers interested and wanting to come back for more cruises by continuously adding new on board activities for people and families to do to have a good time. Their latest addition to the newest boat, the Carnival Vista, for the near future is including an IMAX theater, which is the first time that an IMAX has been housed on a boat or at sea.

The inclusion of an IMAX theater is scheduled to debut in around a year from now during the Spring season of 2016 but is very exciting. Aside from being able to display popular films, documentaries and classics, the IMAX theater will also offer a panoramic views of the ocean scene surrounding the boat. Along with the IMAX theater, the Carnival Vista will also include a multi dimensional theater that offers a unique cinematic experience and has a lot of special effects.

Along with these two interesting theaters, the Carnival Vista will feature a SkyRide that is an open air cycling ride that allows guests to pedal their way around a suspended track that is 800 feet long and offers amazing panoramic views from 150 feet up. The SkyRide is a healthy way to experience something new that (like the IMAX theater) has never been included on a cruise ship before.

All of these activities are fun things to experience and very unique to Carnival and, more specifically, the Vista cruise ship. The Carnival Vista is currently planned to launch on May 1st of next year and the trip travels through the Mediterranean with stops in Italy, France, Spain, Croatia, and Turkey with an overall capacity of 3,936 passengers.
