Luxury Villa of The Week: The $10,000 per Night Starwood Estate in Aspen

Starwood Estate

The Greater Aspen region in Colorado is home to large mountains, breathtaking scenery, and some of the best ski-slopes in the United States. It is here that we find our luxury villa of the week, the Starwood Estate. Situated on a small hill that overlooks the incredible surrounding area, the Starwood Estate is one of the most premium forms of accommodations that Aspen has to offer. Why would you stay at a ski lodge when you can effectively rent out one for yourself, as that is essentially what this home is. If you’re a luxury traveller seeking a ski vacation, then check this home out.

As soon as you step foot into the Starwood Estate you immediately will understand as to why this rental is so exclusive. It offers premium furnishings, modern amenities, and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The Starwood Estate is located about six miles from downtown Aspen, so you’re away from the crowds yet still close to all of the action that the area has to offer. It really is the perfect rental.

In total, the Starwood Estate offers seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms which makes it the ideal rental for large groups and families. You’re also going to want to bring friends along to split the coast of renting the place, as it averages at around $10,000 dollars per night. But if you come during the winter months, expect to pay closer to $18,000 every night. Still while it’s very expensive, it is undoubtedly luxurious. Like any true mountain home should have, there are plenty of lounges and fireplaces found throughout the home. In addition to the few fireplaces found in the homes living rooms, there are also personal fireplaces within three of the master bedrooms.

In addition to the bedrooms, the living room, the dining room, and the full-sized kitchen, there are also many other luxuries to enjoy here. The Starwood Estate offers a personal steam room, an indoor pool, a home gym, a bar, a separate wine room, a private home theater, and much more. This is the type of home that billionaires would live in, and it certainly feels exactly like that. Even the garage and driveway are heated, so you can always warmup when you come off the slopes. The home has plenty of exterior living space as well including a large deck, a fire pit, a tennis court, and more. But if you come during the winter you’ll probably be spending most of your time indoors.

The Starwood Estate really has all of the features that you would want in a premium winter lodge: it’s roomy and spacious, extremely luxurious, filled with modern amenities, it has multiple fireplaces, a heated indoor pool, a steam room, a private theater, and more. If you’re seeking one of the nicest rentals in the area to make your skiing trip complete, the Starwood Estate is easily among one of the best. I mean, it better be considering that hefty price. But as you can clearly see by now, it is essentially a five-star hotel as it even has an elevator.
