While is a relatively small country with a population a bit over 5.4 million that live throughout the city, it is still an extremely desirable travel destination. Singapore consistently ranks very high in terms of GDP per capita, the human development index, and it just generally enjoys a high standard of living. It’s a fairly diverse nation as well so there’s all different kinds of cultures to experience in Singapore. Due to all of those facts, many people enjoy to come to Singapore for vacation. The Ritz-Carlton brand is a trusted and well respected name within the luxury hospitality industry, so you cannot really go wrong when staying at any of their properties. Their location in Singapore is pretty spectacular and is certainly a standout property. The 608 rooms and suites have recently undergone massive renovations so the hotel feels very new. With incredible views of the city and Marina Bay, this Ritz-Carlton certainly creates a luxurious ambiance. From the lobby to the individual rooms, everything is eloquently designed and tastefully decorated. The hotel offers a few award-winning restaurants/lounges, a premium spa, a pool, an attentive staff, a fitness center, a seven-acre garden, and more. It’s a solid, five-star property that’s sure to please. It’s a Ritz-Carlton, you know it’s going to be great.

4. The Sofitel So Singapore

If you are seeking a smaller, more intimate luxury hotel then consider the Sofitel So Singapore. Located right in downtown, this boutique and design-focused hotel has just 134 rooms and suites in total. With interiors designed by Karl Lagerfeld (creative director and head designer for Chanel), every single room here just radiates luxury. The hotel offers two bars and one restaurant that is often lead by at least one Michlin-starred chef. They have a large infinity pool, a fitness center with a rock wall, and they even offer trips to a golf course nearby. The Sofitel So Singapore has all the premium offerings you’d expect, but delivered in a small and intimate package.

3. The Pan Pacific Singapore

If you’re looking for another five-star location to stay in for your family vacation, the Pan pacific Singapore is superb. It’s consistently ranked as one of the best hotels in the city, and it has so much to offer. The Pan Pacific Singapore is a large property that offers 778 rooms and 41 suites in total with plenty of room for meetings and conferences. There are 8 restaurants and lounges here, children/family areas, an entire floor dedicated to the spa, a pool, a fitness center, and even a bespoke clothing store where they will tailor custom suits for you. The Pan Pacific Singapore is large, luxurious, and feature rich which means it’s a great place to call home during your vacation.

2. The Capella Singapore

The Capella Singapore is a very unique luxury property that is more similar to a resort than a hotel. The property is located on a small island just outside of the main city area, so it feels extremely removed and exclusive yet the downtown area is a short ways away. According to TripAdvisor, this is their number one hotel in the entire city, so as you can imagine, it is pretty great. Accommodations here are in the form of 111 rooms, suites, and private villas that offer exterior living spaces and even their own plunge pools. There are three restaurants, a bar, tennis courts, a large spa and fitness area, three pools, expansive gardens, a golf course, and more. The Capella Singapore is a large, full-service resort that has plenty of activities to offer and if you need more, the city is a short car ride away.

1. The Marina Bay Sands Singapore

The Marina Bay Sands Singapore is arguably the most iconic structure in the entire city, and yeah, just look at it. This property is more than just a hotel, and it offers enough activities to please and entertain the entire family; there’s something for everyone. The hotel is comprised of 2,561 rooms and suites that offer incredible views of the area. On the roof, we find the spectacular “SkyBar” which is home to some incredible restaurants, bars, lounges, and arguably one of the coolest infinity pools in the world. Including the locations on the roof, there are over 60 different restaurants throughout the property that serve cuisine from around the world. They also have a massive shopping mall, some gardens, a theater, a large casino, a museum, and more. You could spend an entire week here and you would still have things to see within the Marina Bay Sands Singapore. It’s the most feature-rich property in the city that has much to offer, and then at the end of the day, it’s also a five-star hotel. You’re family will not get bored if you stay here, and it’s ideal for a luxury vacation fit for the whole family.
