Five of the Most Female Friendly Luxury Destinations

Choosing the right luxury travel destination to visit can often be difficult, and there are many factors that you need to take into consideration: location, the activities offered, the types of accommodations, etc. While mountain biking and rock climbing are activities that appeal to many people, typically more men are attracted to those types of things. Now some women are as well and I don’t want to suggest that we have to pick our travel destinations based on stereotypical gender roles, however there are plenty of luxury travel destinations that have more to offer women. So where exactly are these places? We are going to take a look at five of the most female friendly luxury destinations.

5. Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Amsterdam

Amsterdam has so much more to offer travelers than just a place where you can ride bicycles or visit “coffee shops”. It’s one of the most liberal cities in Europe, and has consistently been ranked as one of the most pro-women locations in the world. From the beautiful canals and the awesome architecture to the luxury hotels and the plethora of art museums, Amsterdam is definitely a place to consider visiting.

4. Southern Thailand

Southern Thailand

There’s actually a place on Earth where you can enjoy five-star living for the price of one-star accommodations, and it’s Thailand. While the country as a whole has much to offer and thrives on tourism, the southern part is arguably the most beautiful. Southern Thailand is composed of the mainland and then thousands of luxurious islands that have much to offer. Sure you’ll have to keep you wits about you here, however the majority of the population is very friendly and it is relatively safe place to visit. This is the perfect location that has the right mixture of luxury, affordability, adventure, and just a dash of the unknown. There are plenty of places here where you can stay in a luxurious, private villa located right on the beach for around $20 dollars per night. It is, after all, the most popular destination in Southeast Asia and there’s a reason as to why that is.

3. Monaco

Monaco

If exotic trips to Thailand really aren’t your cup of tea, then Monaco is a pretty great place to visit for women looking for a truly luxurious time. You’re going to be paying a premium here, however it’s arguably one of the nicest places on the Mediterranean. Everything here is all about haute culture and living and Monaco has much to offer. From enjoying amazing cuisine and the spectacular hotels to shopping at the plethora of high-end boutiques like Gucci and Louis Vuitton that are found throughout the city, you really cannot go wrong with visiting Monaco. This is a place where you will frequently see Lamborghinis or Ferraris on the road, so how can it possibly get more luxurious?

2. Milan, Italy

Milan

Really any place in Italy is a solid travel destination, however we feel that Milan is one of the best. From the arts and food to the general atmosphere that you cannot find really anywhere else, Milan has much to offer women. It’s a great travel destination in its own right, however considering the emphasis on fashion, design, style, and the arts that are found in Milan, you’ll certainly be very comfortable here. I’m also told that the wine and food are pretty good too.

1. Paris, France

Paris

Can we really not include Paris on our list? It’s the capital of fashion, romance, culture, and cuisine. The word “haute” is French after all, and Paris certainly embodies everything that word stands for. Here you can stay in arguably the best hotels in the world and enjoy some of the most famous food around. Their fashion district is truly like nothing else, they have arguably the most famous art museum in the world, and the whole city just breathes luxury. Come during the famous fashion week, and you’ll see that girls truly run the world (yes, I just quoted Beyoncé).
