Every year millions of people across the world flock to the nearest beaches to relax and have fun. Most towns near the ocean, especially beach towns, are highly desirable locations for many. Now depending on your budget you can visit some pretty amazing beaches that are truly unique. Each year we see many travel sites give their picks for the best beaches around. With so many out there it can be hard to make a decision on which ones to visit for vacation. We are going to take a look at five amazing beaches that are worth visiting in 2015; beaches that are consistently ranked higher than others.
5. Ihlabela Beach – Brazil
For those that want an exotic beach, the beaches on the island of Ihlabela in Brazil are pretty amazing. The island is home to lush jungles and over 400 waterfalls. Additionally around 85% of the island makes up the Ihlabela State Park meaning the land and beaches are pristine and protected.
4. Little Dix Bay – Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
The beach found at Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands is another great beach that you have to visit, especially with your significant other. The beach is extremely luxurious while also fairly small and private, making it a good choice for those wanting to get away from things.
3. Red Beach – Santorini, Greece
Greece is home to many amazing beaches, but for a truly unique beach check out Red Beach in Santorini. The sand is made from red and black volcanic rocks that have been ground down into sand. This provides the beach with very uniquely colored sand that is worth checking out.
2. Lake Atitlán – Guatamala
While these beaches are not on the ocean, the beaches of Lake Atitlán are as beautiful as they are exotic. The lake is Central America’s deepest lake and is located in a valley surrounded by three volcanoes. You definitely don’t want to miss out on what these beaches have to offer.
1. Miami Beach – Miami, Florida
While you probably shouldn’t take your children here, Miami beach consistently ranks as one of the best and offers so much. The weather here is great, the water is clear, and there’s plenty to do. It’s definitely an adult beach, as one will soon learn based off of the locals attire, but it’s still great. Plus the area around it offers some unbeatable nightlife.
