Diving for Your Eggs in the Carribbean is an Amazing Easter Idea

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

People go away for holidays, that’s a well-known fact. In accordance with that, hotels and other destinations do their best to attract would be tourists with the respective holiday whatever it may be. Christmas, Thanksgiving and most of the Summer/warm weather holidays are pretty straight forward. Easter not so much…

If you’re traveling for Easter I think we’ve found the ultimate holiday promotion. Rosewood Little Dix Bay is celebrated its 50th anniversary with the coolest Easter promotion we’ve ever seen. The inaugural ‘Under-The-Sea Easter Egg Hunt’ gives guests the opportunity to dive in the clear-blue waters of the resorts crescent shape beach to search for underwater treasures. These aren’t your ordinary Easter eggs though. The “underwater treasures” include spa treatments, a private dinner for two and a sunset cocktail cruise. For those who don’t swim like the little kiddies – there’s a golden Easter egg hunt during the resort’s Easter brunch. The resort also has other activities for guests.

Pretty awesome idea for a holiday that doesn’t present a lot of opportunity. The Rosewood Little Dix Bay is a timeless retreat on the Virgin Gorda with an absolutely magical Caribbean beach. There’s one little hiccup though. The rates per night during the Easter holiday start around $1,000. Maybe an Easter egg hunt in your backyard will suffice!
