A Luxury Condo Complex that’s 174 Feet Below?

The Survival Condo

Natural disasters and other fatal problems seem to be happening more and more often around the world nowadays, and one of the biggest things impacted by this is real estate. Buildings are always coming to the ground after devastating tragedies, but now, some people won’t have to worry about that anymore. A new building of condos is being build that can withstand everything, even a nuclear attack! How? It’s being built into the ground by taking up the space of an abandoned  missile silo.

The apartment building will be 1,820 total square feet and it will sit up to 174 feet underground. The complex will still feature regular amenities such as a nice luxury in door swimming pool, a hydroponic vegetable garden and even a 17 seat movie theater. The creator of this idea, Mr. Tyler Allen, understands that there are tons of different threats happening more and more often, and while he’s not paranoid, he recognizes the safety of being underground (similarly to the President), and has the money to afford it.

The condo apartments will be either a half or full floor unit and cost either $1.5 or $3 million each and the entire building can hold up to 75 people. Mr. Allen has been scoping out multiple old missile silos to continue and expand his projects in order to keep residents feeling safe. The silo’s feature water and air treatment facilities with computer network technology and alternate power generation capabilities so people will still be equipped with all of their needs.

Along with the standard amenities mentioned above, the apartment complex will also include a spa, dog park, medical facilities, and even a state of the art fitness center. The entire apartment building is stocked with enough emergency food that can last for up to five years. The apartments have spacious nine foot ceilings and multiple video windows that can project a scene of nature. The missile silo apartments are a very interesting plan, but are something that makes sense, and it will be interesting to see the entire complex completed!
