There are many different aspects of a car that make it a “supercar”. Powerful engines, high-quality parts, insane levels of performance, and an exotic appearance are definitely some of the most important factors. People say looks aren’t everything, but with a supercar you want it too look, well, super. Out of all the supercar companies out there, Lamborghini has always made some of the most aggressive and amazing vehicles in terms of design and appearance, which is why many college dorm-room posters are of Lamborghinis: they just look awesome. So what if they made a boat? While Lamborghini obviously does not produce boats, if they did, it would probably look like this incredible boat from Boris Ivanovic of Art of Kinetik.
The boat is called the “Hedonist” and it is a pretty amazing vehicle from Art of Kinetik that embodies many things that supercars poses. The boat is powered by a Rolls-Royce engine that allows it to travel to speed as fast as 40 knots. It is also decked out, head-to-toe with luxury amenities and features. But most importantly, it looks extremely exotic and amazing, like Lamborghinis.
The Hedonist is definitely a very impressive looking boat that features premium design elements, and it also boast another premium feature: the hull is made entirely from African mahogany wood. That fact gives this boat a extremely unique and impressive appearance. Wood on boats is similar is some respects to carbon fiber on cars: they are just simply more premium materials. The boat comes in at 63 feet, so while it’s not a yacht per se, it is still big enough to be extremely comfortable. But more importantly this is a powerboat, so it performs and handles much better than other boats in its class.
Also like many Lamborghini’s, yachts like the Hedonist from Art of Kinetik only cater to a very small market of those that can afford them. The Hedonist will run you around $4 million dollars when its all said and done, so it’s very much a “super-boat”. The company can take up to a year to produce just one as almost all of them are custom built to order, making them limited like supercars. So in all the ways that a supercar is a supercar, similarly, this boat features all of those same elements: it’s expensive, it’s powerful, it’s luxurious, and above all else, it looks really good. If you want a boat that’s like a Lamborghini, this is very much it.
