St. Regis Dubai Unveils The $20,420 Per Night “Imperial Suite”

St. Regis Dubai

We are all probably familiar by now with just how luxurious and over-the-top everything in Dubai is, at least that’s what it seems like. From the man-made islands and the indoor ski resort to the parking lots filled with Ferrari’s, Dubai seems like a dream. Well this extravagance is also felt when you stay within any of the cities major hotels. The St. Regis Dubai, for example, has recently unveiled their newest suite. It’s called the “Imperial Suite” and it will run you some $20,420 dollars per night.

The Imperial Suite is located on the top floors of the hotel (naturally), and it offers pretty much everything you could ever want. The 9,827-square-foot suite takes up two whole floors and it is actually larger than the hotels ballroom, so in terms of space, let’s just say it’s quite large.

It’s best to thing of this suite as a large condo. The suite offers a 12 person dining room, an office/study, a lounge area, three bedrooms (a master, one king and one twin), en suite bathrooms, walk-in dressing rooms, a minibar, two HDTVs, a living room, access to butler service, and more. Arguably the best part of the suite is the magnificent in-room staircase that takes you to a private rooftop lounge that is complete with its own plunge pool. Throw in some regal furnishings and other luxuries, and you’ve got an expensive hotel suite on your hands.

Now most “normal” people obviously cannot afford to stay in a $20,430 dollar per night hotel room, however Dubai isn’t exactly normal. Given the absurd wealth that many of its citizens have, this hotel room probably isn’t that big of a deal. Which is absurd to imagine, given the fact that a weeks stay within the Imperial Suite costs more money that the vast majority of people make in one year.
