Mandarin Oriental in Tokyo Launches a New Helicopter Flycation Package

Spelunker Rescue Reaches Its Final Phase

The Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo location has introduced a completely new Helicopter Flycation that is offering a new and unique way to experience a new country. The project will have the guests staying at the hotel every night but during the day, the package earns people a private helicopter tour of Mount Fuji.

The helicopter package is offered for $6,500 and will really give guests the ultimate view of one of the world’s most famous mountains. They will take a Eurocopter Hermes Edition which takes off from Tokyo and offers a nice trip along the shoreline of Sagami Bay, over Lake Ashinoko, and to the final destination of Mount Fuji. The whole trip lasts 80 minutes in total and will take the passengers around Tokyo SkyTree as well. The helicopter is very luxurious and has calf leather seats made by Hermes and is very nice and comfortable.

After the sight seeing trip guests will return to the Mandarin Oriental where they receive a one night’s stay in the 100m2 Oriental Suite, which is one of the nicest that the hotel has to offer. There will be round trip limo service provided to and back from the helipad, a full breakfast for the couple at K’shiki or the Oriental Lounge, and even a bottle of champagne with a seasonal pound cake.

Tokyo is a very beautiful location and this helicopter trip is extremely appealing for those who want to experience the country from a different angle. This package will be great hit for the Mandarin Oriental as well as Hermes who has minor inclusion. Travelers are all about seeing new places in the most diverse ways possible, and helicopter is not something that comes along everyday for most. More hotels will probably begin to look into this type of trend.
