The Gansevoort Hotel Group is a small luxury hotel and resort company that is based out of New York City. The company operates four properties: two hotels in New York City, one hotel in Turks & Caicos, and one in the Dominican Republic. While the company is very small compared to competitors, they still provide patrons with an unrivaled hotel and resort experience. The Gansevoort Playa Imbert resort in the Dominican Republic is easily one of the nicest resorts that the country has to offer.

The resort sits right on the ocean a few miles outside the town of Sosúa. This luxurious resort offers some of the best accommodations money can purchase, and it is extremely exclusive. There are no guest rooms at this resort, as it is fairly small in terms of accommodations. However the accommodations they offer are the furthest thing from small. The resort is comprised of 48 suites which are made up of  24 one and two-bedroom lofts, 18 three-bedroom apartments, and 6 exclusive penthouse suites. All of their suites come with a full kitchen, views of the ocean, and ceiling to floor windows. The smallest room options here start at 2,050 square feet, and their large penthouse suites offer 6,000 square feet of luxury.

The basic suites here start at around $900 dollars per night, with their larger penthouse suites costing around $4,100 per night depending on the rates.
