First Baccarat-branded hotel opens in New York

Baccarat is a luxury French company that is primarily known for their pristine crystals and glassware products. The company has been around since 1764 and immediately rose to the top of their market for creating beautiful products that are made from amazing crystal and offer tons of detail. Now the company is moving on to another venture and boldly stepping into the hotel business with the brand new Baccarat Hotel in New York.

The 250 year old company is moving into the lifestyle and hospitality business but continuing to show that they plan on offering only the highest end of hotels that are extremely luxurious. While the hotel will deliver standard things such as elegant rooms, stunning views and fine dining, it’s the little things that should really rope in the customers.

Each room phone will have a specifically marked button that is for champagne and immediately informs room service that the customers want a vintage bottle sent up to the room. The mini bars are stocked with French snacks and drinks while the suites are built in tons of marble and include complimentary skin products.

The Baccarat Hotel will offer a light show when entering that is built upon 2,000 Baccarat glass pieces that are all back lit by LED lights that cover a 20 by 25 foot wall. The hotel features a total of 114 rooms and suites along with 60 private residences. The entire building will be decked out in amazing artwork from the company’s own private collection to add some luxury decoration.

The Baccarat Hotel will also bring some additional French culture to the city with the restaurants and bars. The Baccarat is looking to have a very successful opening this year and the company is even planning on opening up a hotel in Morocco next year and a third location in Dubai by 2018.
