Sure you can book a room at a resort in the Caribbean or similar places, but what if you demand a resort that satisfies the tastes of A-list celebrities? Hollywood movie stars, music icons, and VIP’s have access to resorts that most people could only dream of. So where are all of these celebrities staying when they want to go on vacation? We have comprised a list of ten amazing and luxe resorts that many celebrities are known to visit. These resorts are some of the best in the world, and offer so much. 10. The Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain – Pheonix, Arizona
The first resort on our list is the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain. Situated on top of Camelback Mountain in the deserts of Arizona, this amazing resort has much to offer from the great views, the incredible infinity pool, to the award-winning spa. Jay Z and Beyoncé came here after their wedding in 2009, and it looks like it was a good choice.
9. Singita Grumeti – Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Some people want an exotic location to vacation to, and the Singita Grumeti resort in Tanzania is a great option. After you get all of the shots and vaccinations that are “heavily suggested” to get before coming to Africa, this resort offers so much. Located in the Serengeti National Park, you can experience a classic African adventure and see animals like Elephants and Lions in the wild. The resort is very modern and has everything from a plunge pool to Wi-Fi. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel came here after they got married in Italy, and it is a resort like no other.
8. Villa d’Este – Lake Como, Italy
The Lake Como region and the surrounding area are absurdly beautiful, and it is a popular destination for many celebrities. The Villa d’Este is one of the more premium resorts here and it is located right on the lake. With the views of the surrounding mountain combined will all the resort has to offer, its no surprise why John Krasinski and Emily Blunt chose to get married here in 2010. A night spent here and you will realize that life is not fair, as people live here year-round.
7. Sandy Lane – St. James, Barbados
Sandy Lane is an amazing resort located on the island of Barbados in the Caribbean. The resort offers everything you would expect from fine dining to the class-leading spa. It is known to be a super luxurious and high-end resort reserved for the wealthiest. Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rihanna, Simon Cowell, and Tiger Woods all have stayed at this resort at one point or another.
6. The Turtle Inn – Stann Creek, Belize
The Turtle Inn in Belize offers a pretty amazing beach bungalow experience, and is comprised of eight exclusive villas and 17 cottages located right on the water. This was one of Francis Ford Coppola’s favorite resorts, and it offers amazing experiences such as scuba diving in the local reefs or exploring the local jungle. Jim Toth and Reese Witherspoon also came here for their honeymoon.
5. The Post Ranch Inn – Big Sur, California
The Post Ranch Inn (also seen in the title picture) located in California is another popular vacation destination for many people, including celebrities. Big Sur is a beautiful place where the mountains meet the Pacific Ocean. Situated on the mountains overlooking the resort is this amazing resort. In 2012, Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman took their honeymoon here to this remote resort.
4. The UXUA Casa Hotel and Spa -Tranoso, Brazil
The UXUA Casa Hotel and Spa in Brazil is a super remote and exclusive resort to stay at. There are only nine villas that can be booked here, but they are absolutely amazing. The village of Trancoso is located right on the amazing Bahian Coast, and there is plenty to see and do here. Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson just took a honeymoon here at this incredible and remote resort.
3. Castlemartyr Resort – County Cork, Ireland
Situated on 220 acres of pristine, rural Irish land is the Castlemartyr Resort. Expanding upon a real castle, this amazing resort has been a travel destination for many. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian came here after their wedding in Italy recently as well.
2. North Island – North Island, Republic of Seychelles
The Republic of Seychelles is a remote island nation in the Indian Ocean. One of the islands, North Island, has been converted into a premium resort that is about as exclusive as it gets. Dotted across the island are 11 villas that are extremely nice and private. Prince William and Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge spent their honeymoon here. David and Victoria Beckham came here for their 10th anniversary as well.
1. The St. Regis Bora Bora – Bora Bora
The St. Regis Bora Bora is also a popular destination spot for many. We’ve talked about this amazing resort a few times, and there really are no others like it. Nicole Kidman and Kieth Urban came here for their honeymoon, among a long list of other celebrities and VIP’s. The picture pretty much speaks for itself as to why it is such an amazing resort to visit.
