What is the Most Expensive Room at the Shangri-La Boracay Resort and Spa?

Shangri-La

Across the world, on a small island in the Philippines, is a truly extraordinary resort: the Shangri-La Boracay. The Shangri-La empire has truly extraordinary hotels and resorts located all across the world, and this one is very special. Boracay is a small island within the Philippines that offers amazing scenery, incredible wildlife, and some spectacular beaches. What better place for a resort right? So if you happen to come to this beautiful resort and island, what is the most expensive room that you can get?

Technically speaking the most expensive room you can get at this Shangri-La is the Premier Family Seaview room. It’s a fairly standard hotel room that offers two queen-sized beds, a great view, and a private balcony. You can get all of that for around $670 dollars. While that’s nice, it’s not the most expensive accommodation you can get. While not technically a room, the 18,589 square-foot Presidential Villa will cost you the most amount of money per night here.

The Presidential Villa is not really a single “villa” per se, but rather a large compound featuring a few buildings. The end result is this amazing experience that will leave you breathless and is the resorts most luxurious accommodations. First of all when you book the Presidential Villa, you get butler service pretty much around the clock. Within the property there are three separate houses: the main villa, and then two guest villas. You’ll find tropical gardens, outdoors patios, a luxurious swimming pool, and much more.

One can expect the most luxurious and modern amenities found throughout the entire villa. The Presidential Villa can accommodate six adults, or 4 adults and 2 children, or five adults and one child. Additional guests will cost more money, but there certainly is plenty of space here. One can expect walk-in closets, rainforest shower heads, bath tubs, outdoor gazebos, entertainment systems found throughout the rooms, impressive art work, and much more.

So while the Premier Family Seaview room is the nicest “room” at this Shangri-La hotel, it is actually the Presidential Villa that offers guests the nicest and most luxurious accommodations. The Shangri-La Boracay does not post the rates for this villa online, as you have to inquire within as if you are seriously interested in booking this villa. Still you can expect it to be extremely expensive. Their smaller villas start at a few thousand dollars per night, and since this is the top-of-the-line villa, expect it to cost you a pretty penny.
