A Brief Look at the $4,000 a Night Ritz-Carlton Suite on Amelia Island

The Ritz-Carlton hotel chains are famous across the world for providing guests with some of the best luxury hotel accommodations. From their amazing rooms, to the variety of amenities, and their prime locations, Ritz-Carlton hotels are sure to please anyone. Deepening on the location, Ritz-Carlton hotels are often expensive. However this should not be surprising as these hotels are often some of the best in the industry, and provide guests with five star service. We are going to take a look at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island and their famous Ritz-Carlton suite at this hotel.

Amelia Island is a small island that is part of a larger chain of barrier islands that extends from Florida to South Carolina. Amelia Island is located of the coast of northern Florida, somewhat close to Jacksonville. The island is about thirteen miles long, and around 4 miles wide at its widest point. This is a great place to stay for guests who want to experience island life, without really leaving the continental United States.

Now getting on to the hotel itself, this Ritz-Carlton has 360 guest rooms, 36 larger club rooms, 47 luxurious suites, and 3 specialty suites. There are four restaurants within the hotel and the Lobby Lounge. The hotel also has their famous Ritz-Carlton Spa, a 24 hour fitness center, multiple pools, an 18-hole private golf course, beach access, and a few tennis courts. Additionally ever room has its own private balcony. The basic rooms start at around $499 a night, depending on the rates.

Now at every Ritz-Carlton the most luxurious and the most expensive suite is the “Ritz-Carlton Suite” (pictured above). Think of it less as a hotel room, and more of an apartment. The suite can accommodate four people comfortably and there is a connecting room for your friends. It is located on the top floor of the hotel and faces the ocean. This 2,409 square foot suite has a two and a half marble bathrooms,  a king sized bed, three personal balconies, a fireplace, a full sized kitchen, a dining room, multiple 37 inch HDTV’s, an smartphone docking station, housekeeping service that comes twice a day, access to the exclusive Club Lounge, and much more. This suite is the definition of luxury and if you book it, I am sure you will be pleased. Rates for this suite can range from anywhere between $3,500 a night to $5,000 a night depending on the month and time of your stay.
