High-end, luxury resorts have really come into their own over the years, and they are some of the best places to stay at when you want a truly great vacation. Whether they’re located on the beach in the Caribbean or within a major city, a luxury resort has everything you could want. When choosing a resort to stay at, most people focus on the amenities, what the rooms are like, what the spa is like, and where the resort is located. We often forget that some of these resorts have incredible restaurants. Now we see some of the worlds best chefs opening up restaurants within luxury resorts around the world. So if you’re a foodie that loves to eat, which resorts have some of the finest eating establishments? Let’s take a look at a few resorts that are not only recognized for their luxury offerings, but for their incredible dining experiences as well.

Hotel Il Pellicano

6. Hotel Il Pellicano – Italy 

Located right on the water in the Maremma region of Tuscany, Italy is the premier resort that is known as the Hotel Il Pellicano. It’s a five-star property that’s filled with all the luxury amenities you’d expect a top-tier resort to have. But we want to focus on the dining aspect. The hotel has two restaurants, a standard bar/lounge, and a cantina that is stocked with over 800 different bottles of wine. Their restaurant known as “Pelligril” serves up some traditional seafood, but their best restaurant is simply called “Il Pellicano”. It’s run by Chef Sebastiano Lombardi and they serve a variety of Tuscany-inspired and Italian dishes. The restaurant also has two Michelin-stars, so yeah, it’s pretty good. A Michelin recognized restaurant located on the coast of Tuscany? What more could you want?

Park Hyatt Tokyo

5. The Park Hyatt Tokyo – Japan

The Park Hyatt in Tokyo is another standout property when it comes to great dining experiences. The hotel has three restaurants,  a lounge, two bars, a pastry boutique, and even a delicatessen. They have “Kozue”, which serves some contemporary Japenese cuisine, “Girandole” that offers European-inspired dishes, and the “New York Grill” that serves up some classic American and find-dining options. Every restaurant is extremely stylish and high-end, and the food is absolutely to die for. Besides the New York Grill is located on the 52nd-floor, so the views are pretty sensational. Couple that with the live jazz, and you’ve got quite the eating establishment on your hands.

Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman

4. The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman – Cayman Islands

Pretty much all Ritz-Carlton properties have incredible restaurants, but their location in the Cayman Islands comes to mind as one of the best. The resort has seven restaurants and bars that offer a wide range of culinary offerings. From Italian favorites at “Andiamo” to sushi at “Taikun”, this resort has it all. However their best restaurant is called “Blue”. It’s a seafood restaurant that serves up some mind-blowing dishes and all their ingredients are from local fisherman. Chef Eric Ripert also established the restaurant, and since he’s a well-known chef whose New York location, Le Bernardin, has three Michelin-stars and is often considered one of the best restaurants in the world, you can expect that Blue is something quite special.

Trump Hotel New York

3. The Trump International Hotel & Tower New York – United States

Located right across from Central Park in the West Side of Manhattan is the Trump International Hotel & Tower. New York City contains some of the worlds best restaurants and hotels, and you can expect some life-changing meals here at this Trump Hotel. They have three restaurants in total, and the best one is called “Jean Georges”, named after its founder, chef Jean Georges. He has three Michelin-stars, the restaurant also has three Michelin-stars, and also four stars from the New York Times, which is the most you can earn from them. It’s New York City fine-dining at its best, and while expensive, the food is just sublime.

Farimont Southampton

2. The Fairmont Southampton – Bermuda 

The Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda is another resort that consistently ranks as one of the best when it comes to dining experiences. The property has everything you’d expect a resort of this nature to have, including a total of eight restaurants. The “Ocean Club” is a high-end seafood joint, their “Waterlot Inn” offers a traditional steakhouse environment, the “Jasmine Lounge” serves tapas and craft drinks, “Wickets” offers more contemporary favorites,  “Newport Gastropub” serves some artistic and creative meals, “Bacci” serves classic Italian food, “Windows on the Sound” is the place to get breakfast, the “Cabana Bar & Grill” has burgers and classic pub food, and “The Dock” is a classic outside seafood restaurant. For a truly intimate and romantic experience, guests can go for the “Bermuda Moon Dance” where you and one other person eat out right on the beach. They pretty much have everything here when it comes to food, and every restaurant has amazing views of the ocean.

Four Seasons Hotel George V

1. The Four Seasons Hotel George V – France

Located right on the famous Avenue George V in one of the most haute districts in Paris is the Four Seasons Hotel George V. When it comes to just restaurants in general, Paris sets the bar very high. The property has just three restaurants and bars, however as you can see from the picture, it’s all that they need given how luxurious this establishment is. Their flagship restaurant, Le Cinq, offers French fine-dining at it’s best. From the incredible interior and the large menu to the fact that the restaurant has three Michelin-stars, it’s arguably one of the best restaurants in any hotel or resort.
