The Dalmore Releases Two Limited-Edition Single Malt Scotches

The Dalmore Releases Two Limited-Edition Scotches the 21-year-old and the 30-year-old

Fans of scotch whiskey and The Dalmore will be pleased to hear that the beloved whiskey brand has recently released two new limited-edition scotches. It’s not uncommon for scotch manufacturers to release limited-edition batches, and they are typically some of the better batches of scotch. The Dalmore will release the more accessible 21-year scotch and then a high-end 30-year scotch this year.

The Dalmore 21-year is first aged in classic American white oak barrels. After it spends some time there, the whiskey is then moved to Matusalem oloroso sherry butts to increase the flavor even more. Once added with the sherry butts, The Dalmore 21-year is aged for an entire decade before being bottled. The whiskey comes out to have a 42% ABV and it is delivered in a beautiful 70cl bottle with a unique sliding box. In total, The Dalmore has produced 8,000 bottles of the 21-year and it is expected to cost $760 dollars per bottle.

Then at the more expensive end of things is The Dalmore 30-year. The 30-year is produced in a similar manner as the 21-year scotch is, however it is obviously aged for much longer and has a higher ABV of 45%. Every bottle is also hand marked with a number, as this scotch is fit for any whisky aficionados collection. The Dalmore has produced just 888 bottles of the 30-year in total and it will cost $3,256 dollars per 70cl bottle. These limited-edition scotches are expected to sell quite fast, and once they are gone, there’s none left.
