Jay-Z has become a business mogul in multiple different industries, and has been successful enough to do just about whatever he wants with his money. The rapper has been able to fully take advantage of his musical career status and use it to develop other business ventures and keep bringing the large loads of money in. His latest venture was the purchase of stock in a New York based champagne brand called Ace of Spades, which will likely jump in sales due to the rap icon’s involvement with the brand.

The brand has been a longtime favorite of Jay-Z’s and was even involved with the brand’s 2006 launch when he featured the champagne in the video for his song “Show Me What Your Got.” Jay-Z loves to find as many different sources of income as possible and knows how to capitalize on a solid business, especially one that he has already dealt with in the past and is a personal fan of.

In the past, Jay-Z (along with a bunch of other rappers) dealt with having the champagne company, Cristal, turn their backs on the popular male rap market that always highly praised the brand in their music and videos. This caused him to search for a new champagne brand of equal caliber to sponsor and promote. Jay-Z eventually found the Ace of Spades brand and was instantly able to recognize its quality and great brand logo that would be very easy to boost and promote.

The Ace of Spaces champagne brand is produced by Armand de Brignac. The bottles are actually hand crafted by the Cattier family house that is located in Chigny-les-Roses, France and only operates with a total staff of 8 people. With his stock purchase, Jay-Z is now the company owner and surely has plans to further the growth of the brand and company. He should be able to find similar success to Diddy and his Ciroc brand, but only time will tell.
