Want to See What a $1 Million Halloween Costume Looks Like?

Normally, a Halloween costume can be considered expensive when it costs only $50; however, MorphCostumes has taken the term “expensive Halloween costume” to a new level by making a fashion morphsuit costume. Morphsuits have become a hot product that started out intended for Halloween costumes, but lately, they have been used for just about anything, even at sporting events. It’s no surprise to see the company expand their suit variety even more with this new extremely expensive, luxury outfit.

The “Million Dollar Morphsuit” has 70,000 diamonds encrusted on the entire thing, from head to toe. The base is a traditional silver morphsuit, which is a tight fitting spandex one piece suit that zips up in the back. These costumes completely cover the users and this takes that to the next level by entirely covering the person in diamonds. The costume is apparently significantly heavy while also having even more limited vision due to all of the diamonds.

The diamond covered morphsuit is set at a price of $1 million and is currently sitting in a London bank vault until a buyer comes around. This isn’t the first time that MorphCostumes has released an expensive costume product either. In the past, they offered a “Giant Zombie-Killing Robot” suit that sells for around $25,000 because it has light and sound effects mixed in with some other neat surprises. The company also has a Invisible Cowboy Premium Costume that is sold for $2,500 and has a head that can move any direction.

MorphCostumes is attempting to diversify themselves from the other generic morphsuit companies in the marketplace. They still offer their 300+ collection of normal morphsuit costumes that run between $30-45, but are testing to see how unique they can make these suits. Although the $1 million diamond encrusted morphsuit might not immediately sell, there are always people looking for luxury items in odd places. People are probably not considering a luxury Halloween costume, but eventually someone will come along and, at the very least, purchase it as a collector’s item.
