Nike Sunglasses Have Lenses Specifically Designed for Certain Activities

Nike has a wide range of sunglasses that can meet a variety of different needs, depending on what they are. They primarily make active glasses for athletes who participate in a range of different sports, however they also make some sunglasses that are more fashion oriented. Like other competing sport sunglass companies, Nike provides theirs with many different lenses that are used for different sports.

Nike got started when a college track athlete and his coach began importing Japanese sneakers and then selling them at track meets in the early 1960’s. The company saw some early success and in the 1970’s the began selling shoes with their trademarked swoosh. Today, Nike is a sports powerhouse and not only provides shoes for nearly every sport, but also a variety of other products. Like their lines of shoes, Nike has sunglasses designed for every sport. The have multiple pairs of sunglasses for golfing, running, baseball, cycling, tennis, snow sports, and multi-sport sunglasses. These sunglasses typically run anywhere between $100-$200 dollars depending on the kind.

What makes these sunglasses nice is the various lenses that you can get in them. Nike has designed various kinds of lenses to help improve seeing certain things, for example, their baseball sunglasses help you see balls that are high in the air more easily in the daytime. Additionally most of the sunglasses that Nike produces have removable frames in case they get damaged or you want to put a different pair in. They also produce more fashion conscious sunglasses if the sport ones are not for you; they really do make all different kinds of sunglasses. Now while this is not a company that has high amounts of brand recognition for sunglasses, compared to say Ray-Ban or Oakley for example, they do in fact make quality sunglasses that are worth checking out. Some of my favorites are the Racer, the Show X-2, and the Premier 6.0 models.
