Nike is one of the largest manufacturers of sports gear and apparel in the entire world. They have a diverse product line, and make goods for a variety of different sports. While to company originally started out selling shoes for track athletes, they have since diversified into many different sports, including golf. The famously endorse their golf products to Tiger Woods and produce some of the nicest golfing equipment in the world. From golf club to golf balls, and from golf shoes to shirts, Nike Golf really has it all. Since the produce so much, we are going to look at some of their best and most expensive products that they sell.
Golf Shoes
Out of everything that Nike makes, they are best known for their shoes. They sell a variety of different gold shoes for both men and women, and some of them are applicable with their iD program, which is Nike’s program that allows you to customize the shoes (within reason) to make them very personal.
Nike Lunar Clayton – $250
The most expensive golf shoes that they produce for men, which are also the most expensive gold shoes that they sell are the Nike Lunar Clayton’s for $250 dollars. The shoes are a combination of a classic golf shoe, with a modern twist. The shoes are made from high-quality leather that is waterproof and provides protection from the various elements. The midsole heel is made from their Lunarlon technology that provides a comfortable, springy, and responsive cushioning. Their is a full length sockliner for added comfort and they feature a “Dynamic Fit” system to ensure the shoes are locked down and stay on your feet. The outsole is made from light purple leather and they come with a one-year limited waterproof warranty.
Nike FI Impact – $13o
For women, the most expensive golf shoes made from Nike are the FI Impact’s. These shoes were made in cooperation with professional golfer Suzann Perrersen. Those shoes have a ultra-flexible and comfortable Nike Free outsole that is supposed to help with your golf swing. It is meant to conform and respond to the natural movement of your foot, while simultaneously improve contact with the ground and transfer energy easily. The shoes also feature their Dynamic Fit for improved comfort and a secure fit. The shoe is made from lightweight ripstop mesh and is waterproof.
Golf Clubs
Nike Vapor Pro Combo Irons – $1,099
The most expensive golf club pack that Nike sells is the Vapor Pro Combo Irons. Nike says that these clubs will improve the ball speed using their Spring Steel technology and “Modern Muscle” geometry to balance the center of gravity of the club. This combo back comes with eight clubs: four, five, six, and seven long irons and eight, nine, pitching, and a wedge short iron.
Nike Method Mod 30 – $299
The most expensive putter that Nike sells is the Method Mod 30. The putter is perfectly balanced with less weight in the center while the majority of the weight is evenly distributed in the heel and toe of the putter. This allows for a deeper center of gravity. The putter also has a multi-matierial face and “Polymetal Groove Technology” to allow you to lift the ball and launch it with more ease and a consistent roll.
The most expensive driver that Nike currently sells is the VR_S Covert Black 2.o. This driver is a limited edition driver because of its color, and one they sell out there will be no more. The driver is extremely light-weight and has a cavity back design and Fly-Brace technology for faster ball speed. This cavity allows for more energy to be transferred to the ball, allowing you to hit it further. Nike ensures greater ball speed and a distance gain of up to six yards with this driver. The driver also features “FlexLoft” technology to allow the user to adjust the loft and face angle position independently.
Golf balls
Nike RZN Platinum – $46
Nike’s premium and most expensive gold ball line is their RZN series. The $46 dollar pack contains 12 golf balls that are designed to control the spin of the ball. They feature “Speedlock” technology allowing for more energy to be transferred to the ball and for improved speed. The balls are very lightweight which allows them to be hit further and harder.
Golf Bag
Nike Air Hybrid Carry -$199
Now you’re going to need a bag to carry all of your gear in and the Nike Air Hybrid Carry can help you do that. At $199, it is their most expensive bag and offers some nice features. Nike really likes to use the word “air” in a lot of their product. This bag is very light weight and has many compartments to help you stay organized. The bag has a hybrid “walk-or-ride” design allowing you to carry it in a number of ways. The bag also has a matching rain hood that comes with it.
Well there you have it folks, these are some of the most expensive Golf gear that Nike currently sells. While they are expensive, there is a reason they are used by so many golfers worldwide. They really are quality products.
