The Most Expensive Gucci Vests for Men

Founded in 1921 by Guccio Gucci, the Italian fashion and design house is easily one of the most expensive clothing brands in the entire world today. They are known for making a variety of high-end fashion goods that range from haute couture, leather goods, perfume, clothing, and various other clothing and accessories. The Florence based company quickly grew to prominence and their products are considered status symbols due to their high costs. The company sees billions of dollars in revenue each year, and they are one of the more popular high-fashion brands.

Within their diverse product line the company produces a variety of vests that range from suit vests to vests that are meant to be worn as a coat. We have looked at some of their most expensive products before, but have not taken a look at their most expensive vests for men. So without further adieu, here are the most expensive vests that Gucci makes for men within their current product lineup.

The Tuxedo Vest – $335

The first vest on our list is the black Tuxedo Vest. The vest is made from black stretchable wool that is comprised up of 63% wool, 34% viscose, and 3% elastic. The vest features black mini “GG” Gucci logos on the inside lining, while the external lining is all black. Perfect for dinner parties, the Tuxedo Vest is elegant and understated and has buttons and pockets made of satin, that slightly pop out.

The Gucci Checkered Wool Vest – $775

At $775 dollars the Gucci Checkered Wool Vest makes our list. The vest is comprised of black, blue, and brown checkered wool, and it is 100% wool to be exact. The front of the vest has five tortious shell buttons and two small pockets. The back is made from silk and is fully adjustable.

The Gucci Black Wool and Silk Vest – $790

A perfect match to complete any black suit, the next vest on out list is the Gucci Black Wool and Silk Vest. As the name implies this vest is made from wool and silk. To be exact, it is comprised of 60% wool and 40% silk, making it very comfortable. This vest has buttons on the front, an adjustable silk back, and is made in Italy.

 The Gucci Wool Vest – $815

Following in the same suite as the last vest, this mens vest is more traditional and is meant to be worn by itself or with a suit. Gucci simply refers to this vest as the “wool vest”. It is dark blue in color and is made from 80% premium wool and 20% mohair, making it extremely comfortable. The vest has five buttons on the front, and two small pockets. The back of this Italian made vest is made from high-quality silk and is fully adjustable.

Matte Nylon Vest from Viaggio Collection – $1,150

The next mens vest that we have on our list is the Matte Nylon Vest from Viaggio Collection. At $1,150 dollars this vest is made from black nylon that has a small matte tint to it. The nylon is able to stretch so depending on your body type, it will probably be more of a slim fit. The vest itself is water proof and features black and gray web inside straps. On the vest itself you will find a rubber Gucci Viaggio label. The vest is also very warm as it its filled with down feathers. Also there is a black nylon pouch for added storage. The vest is fully lined and made in Italy.

The Down Vest From the Equestrian Collection – $1,550

The most expensive vest that Gucci currently produces is the Down Vest from the Equestrian Collection. An equestrian is someone who partakes in horseback riding, and this vest is very fitting in that style. The black vest can be worn for a number of different occasions, not just when you are out for a game of polo. The vest is made from a black nylon exterior and a nylon lining and has premium down feathers on the inside. Down feathers, while heavier than synthetic materials, are extremely warm and comfortable. The vest features an extended neck cover and a hood, to ensure that you stay not only warm, but also dry. The vest is made in Italy and has a Gucci crest patch on the left hand side which is elegantly designed. The vest measure out to be 24 inches in length.
