Christian Louboutin is one of the most famous French designers to ever hit the fashion industry. At 51 years old, Louboutin has been creating luxury footwear since 1991 and has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. As Louboutin continues to roll out amazing shoes, the designer has decided to open up a boutique in Dubai that is strictly for men, which is somewhat surprising, but also makes a ton of sense.
The designer is finally breaking into the Middle Eastern market with men’s products in hopes of his them taking off in the massive Dubai area. The shop is a stand alone men’s boutique and aims to target the large fashion conscious male population in the Dubai area. Louboutin shoes are some of the nicest available and a high priority of those interested in fashion, and this store will hopefully provide the products to a market that is lacking them.
The store is three times the size of the Louboutin women’s store that is in the same location, which is interesting because the company already knows that their women’s products are an established piece in Dubai, while this will be the first time any men’s products are available on hand. Men in Dubai are very interested in fashion and how they look, so the market is huge in the region and the customers want more.
The all menswear boutique will even feature a VIP tattoo parlor that allows customers to have their shoes custom embroidered with designs to match their real tattoos and give their shoes a little more style. Louboutin himself was even present for the opening of the men’s fashion boutique and liked that the men were unafraid to start conversations and be more engaging. Overall, Christian Louboutin seems to have the right idea of opening up a store in Dubai because it’s a very fashion conscious area and is still being developed, which means plenty of opportunity for more stores.
