PROENZA SCHOULER FOR MASTER & DYNAMIC LIMITED EDITION HEADPHONE

The headphone industry has becoming quite large and expansive these days, and it seems that there are new companies that claim to offer amazing headphones popping up all the time. For the longest time headphones got smaller and smaller, but now we see them getting larger. More and more people are opting to choose high-end studio headphones for personal in favor of lower-end ear buds. There are many companies dominating the higher-end headphone scene, namely Beats by Dre, however many “audiophiles” prefer other headphones as they feel Beats are not worth the price. Still Beats are still the most stylish and “cool” headphones that you can get, until now. So what happens when you get a high-end fashion company to work with a high-end headphone company? You get an incredible pair of headphones that not only look cool, but sound amazing as well. Enter the Proenza Schouler For Master & Dynamic Limited Edition Headphones.

Master & Dynamic is a New York City based company that produces premium headphones and earbuds for consumers, that sound good and are “design-driven”. Their current headphone lineup is made up of four different models, with the MH40’s being their flagship headphones. Wanting to make a special edition and fashion oriented product, the company teemed up with Proenza Schouler to design these special edition headphones. Proenza Schouler is a New York based fashion and design company that specializes in women’s high-fashion and accessories. The two companies came together to deliver these special pairs of the MH40’s.

The MH40’s are already nice headphones that feature 45mm neodymium drivers, a frequency response of 3hz – 65,000hz, a gold plated adapter, and an impedance rating of 32 ohms. These special edition versions bring new design elements, and premium metals and leather. They two companies are selling three different colors, but in my opinion the white and copper ones are the nicest. Normally MH40’s will run you $399 dollars, but these special edition ones will cost $495 dollars. Only 200 versions of each color have been produced and when they sell-out, they sell-out. You can purchase the headphones at participating retailers or from Master & Dynamic’s website.
