The Porsche Macan Has Been Named The “Most Loved Vehicle” of 2015

Porsche Macan named most loved car of 2015

The company known as Strategic Visions, a marketing research and consumer analysis firm, has recently conducted a study examining which was the “most loved vehicle” of 2015. The firm created a new metric, called the consumer love index, and asked some 44,000 car owners what they felt about their vehicles. They asked the owners a range of different questions and then came up with which cars were ranked the highest. At the top of the list was the Porsche Macan, which, according to them, is the most loved automotive vehicle of 2015.

Strategic Visions polled owners of nearly all vehicles to come up with their results, and then broke them down by category (e.g. mid-size car, convertible, entry level SUV, etc.). While there are many different winners for each sub category, the Macan was the definitive overall winner. The Porsche Macan scored a CLI score of 629 which is high compared to the average CLI score of 400.

Available in three different standard configurations (Macan S, Macan GTS, and Macan Turbo) this Porsche SUV has been a favorite with consumers since it was first unveiled back in 2014. The standard $54,400 Macan S features a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that cranks out 340 hp in total. The Macan S is able to reach speeds of 156 mph and accelerate from 0 to 60 in 5.2-seconds. Then at the high-end of things is the Macan Turbo, which starts at $76,00 dollars. With it’s 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 that offers 400 hp, it can hit speeds of 164 mph and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.6-seconds. Regardless of which Macan interests you, Strategic Visions found them to be the most loved car of 2015 meaning it was ranked highest out of all cars in terms of overall satisfaction and other factors. This isn’t that shocking, as Porsche’s are consistently ranked as some of the cars with the highest levels of consumer satisfaction and have some of the highest resell value seen from any brand. So if you’re in the market for a high-end SUV/crossover, the Macan probably won’t fail to please.
