The Pagani Huayra posses all the qualities that make a hypercar, well, a hypercar. It’s exotic and unique looking, it’s produced in limited numbers, it’s extremely expensive, it radiates luxury, and of course, it’s extremely fast. Well the company has recently introduced a new model of this car, the Huayra BC, and they’ve made their premium hypercar even faster.
Pagani has named the vehicle after the companies very first customer, Benny Caiola, and they’ve made this Huayra quite special. While it does look very similar to the old models at first glance, the Huayra BC is an entirely new breed of animal. Pagani has added a new front spoiler, a new rear wing, and a new diffuser to the vehicle to improve it’s aerodynamics and decrease the overall weight. Speaking of weight reduction, the biggest difference with the Huayra BC is that it’s lighter than ever. The Huayra BC weighs in at some 2,685 pounds, a significant reduction compared to the original Huayra’s weight of 2,976 pounds. That’s a difference of nearly 300 pounds!
Now when you shave off that kind of weight from a hypercar, the difference is quite noticeable. But not only did Pagani make this Huayra lighter, they’ve made it even faster. The Huayra BC features a 6.0-liter Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V12 that will deliver some 789 bhp in total! So this new Huayra is lighter and faster than ever.
Pagani will officially debut the car at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show where they will fill us in with even more details, like how much it will cost and how many they will be making. Regardless the Pagani Huayra BC is set to be the fastest and most extreme Pagani ever!
