The Mercedes C250: The Mercedes For Those On A Budget

Mercedes-Benz is a luxury German automobile manufacturer that produces some very nice sedans, sport utility vehicles, and coupes. They are well known for providing the complete package when in comes to cars: a perfect balance of performance, style, luxury, and features. These luxury vehicles are very popular throughout the world, and are liked by many. However most of the vehicles in the Mercedes-Benz lineup are pried at somewhat expensive to really expensive, and they have many vehicles over the $100,000 price range and make some supercars as well. Their high-pricetag alienates a lot of potential customers, however if you are looking to own a Mercedes-Benz on a budget then check out the C250.

Mercedes-Benz’s C class is their entry level vehicles that are the most moderately priced, with the C250 being one of their lest expensive. Starting at $39,400 dollars, this Mercedes two-door coupe is relatively affordable compared to their other vehicles. While being one of their least expensive models, the C250 is still very much a luxury coupe. The vehicle is powered by a 1.8 litre turbo charged Direct Injection four-cylinder engine. This engine provides the car with 201 horsepower @ 5,500 RPM, 229 pounds-feet of torque @4,300 RPM, and it can accelerate from 0-60 in 7.1 seconds. The car also has a seven-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles and an agility control suspension for a nice feeling ride. The car has a massive sunroof, eleven airbags, “Attention Assist” to alert drivers of passing cars, and the car can even be synced with Mercedes mobile phone app to control the car. Their is a premium harman/kardon sound system, a USB audio port, leather seats that are highly adjustable, and much more also found within the car.

There are also a bunch of options with the car like a nicer interior, a rear-view camera, and even Distronic Plus which is their radar-based cruise control system that automatically changes the speed of the vehicle based on cars in front of it. So while the vehicle is relatively cheap (compared to other Mercedes), you still get a lot of car in the C250.
