Meet Aston Martin’s V12 Vantage S Roadster

Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster

Aston Martin is currently planning to vastly update their current lineup, at least that is what they implied with the unveiling of the DB10 for the new James Bond film. While we welcome progressive changes as many of their models have been on their line for some time now, the company isn’t ready just quite yet. So in the meantime we are left to make due with the V12 Vantage S Roadster which is one of the companies most recent rendition of the V12 Vantage, and it is pretty great.

The Vantage was first introduced in back in 2005 and has seen many different versions of itself over the years. The V12 Vantage S was introduced back in 2013 and aimed to be a higher performing version of the regular V12 vantage.  Aston Martin was able to increase the power by 11%, increase the torque by 9%, and decreased the acceleration time by 14%. These welcomed performance upgrades made this  V12 Vantage S the fastest Vantage ever with a top speed of 205 miles per hour. The company wanted to release a newer version of the V12 Vantage S, so they designed the S Roadster.

V12 Vantage s Roadster 2

The V12 Vantage S Roadster is similar to the Vantage S in pretty much everyday besides that it is missing a roof. If you were looking for a supercar convertible, than look no further. The vehicle packs the best engine that Aston has ever made and it is a V12 with 565 brake horsepower and 620 nM of torque. This powerful engine combined with its suspension, advanced 7-speed transmission,  allows the car to perform and handle extremely well. Driving the Vantage V12 S Roadster is a pretty amazing experience and the fact that it is in a convertible makes it even better. The vehicle is also Aston Martin’s most powerful convertible as well. The vehicle, while very expensive, is also competitively priced at around $199,495 which is less money than its supercar competitors. If you are looking for a high performance supercar convertible, than the Vantage V12 S Roadster is for you.
