Lincoln Gives us a Glimpse Into the Future with the MKX

Lincoln MKC

The luxury car market has become increasingly competitive over the past couple of years with companies like Cadillac and Lincoln jumping back into the race to compete with the standard brands such as BMW and Mercedes. The Detroit Auto Show is currently taking place and all of these companies have been showing off their latest and greatest cars and ideas for the future, and Lincoln unveiled their new MKX model, a nice looking mid size luxury crossover that has the ability to take the car manufacturer to new heights.

Lincoln MKX

The new Lincoln MKX model looks sleek and has a great design, which is how this car aims to break into the market. When comparing the MKX to other luxury crossovers it definitely lacks on the performance side; it doesn’t have a massive engine or horsepower but has relatively standard components. The company is aiming to create a crossover that provides drivers with a calm and relaxing experience while they are traveling. The MKX offers a bunch of great features for the driver such as a full 360 degree camera as well as parking assistance. One of the new and more unique features that the car offers is it’s auto hold system, which keeps the car automatically stopped without having to hold one’s foot on the brake all the time. This will be a great option for anyone that drives in the city or hits daily rush hour traffic going to and from work.

Lincoln MKX Interior

The Lincoln MKX has a stunning interior that is very comfortable and really aids to the driver. When it begins to get dark, the interior lights slowly come on without being too vibrant and slowly moves throughout the car. The MKX has a very interesting dual bridge console that provides more storage space easily within arms reach. The seats in the car even have a massage feature to deliver more relaxation while driving.

The Lincoln aims to please drivers with things that will directly impact their driving experience. While car enthusiasts love their technical specs under the hood, most people aren’t as interested in that. The MKX is a great step in the right direction for Lincoln and looks like a fantastic new age crossover that will be amazing to drive.
