Lamborghini Aventador Jackie Chan Edition Unveiled

'Police Story 2013' Premiere In Seoul

Most people in the United States don’t know about the Beijing International Motor Show. The 2014 event has come and gone just like most of the annual shows in China. What we should not is that due to the popularity of luxury cars in the East the show is loaded with some of the most brilliant cars ever created.

One of the vehicles unveiled at the show was a unique special edition created by Lamborghini. The version of the Aventador was created specifically for actor Jackie Chan. The Lamborghini Aventador Jackie Chan edition was designed for the actor’s 60th birthday and has been personalized through Lambo’s Ad Personam Program.

So what about the actual car? The limited edition luxury ride has a titanium grey paint job, with a red and black combination from the wheels to the interior. For the Chinese actors real name ‘Cheng Long’, the word long has been embroidered in the head rests and doors.

Don’t expect to see Mr. Chan riding around in his special edition Lamborghini though. The car will go up for auction and the proceeds will go to the China Film Institute ‘Jackie Chan Fund’ which supports the development of China’s film industry. And for the record, Jackie Chan isn’t a huge sports car fan so the choice is a interesting one. The only explanation would be Chan’s immense popularity in China and the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. Anyway, the car is pretty awesome.
