Just How Cheap can you get a Lamborghini for?

I would bet that nearly all car lovers and enthusiasts would kill to own their own supercar, at least I know I would. However with prices of supercars ranging anywhere on the low end of $200,000 to as high as a few million dollars, that dream can only be made a reality by extremely rich people. It’s also not just the initial cost of the car that is expensive as well: servicing the car is not only difficult but also costly. Depending on the company, they will not let you take the supercar to any old garage, they want you to come to their special garage for service. I mean, that makes sense. I would not take my $300,000 dollar supercar to my local garage that is normally used to servicing Toyota Corollas, Ford Trucks, and Honda Civics. Also you have to account that everything costs more on a supercar as you will be paying top dollar: from using premium gasoline, to changing the oil, or to replacing a bumper. So what is the absolute cheapest that you can get a Lamborghini? Currently their least “expensive” and most affordable models, are around $200,000 dollars. But can you get one for cheaper? What if I told you that you can get a Lamborghini for under $90,000 dollars? Well you can.

Cars depreciate the moment you drive away from the dealership and this holds true with supercars. Unless you are purchasing some limited edition, “one of six”, 25th anniversary mumbo-jumbo supercar model, then your supercar will depreciate heavily. So a quick Google search will yield you with plenty of results for used Lamborghini’s, and some of them cost under $90,000. You can get a 10 year old, V10 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo for $86,000 dollars and it only has 33,000 miles on it. On autotrader.com they have another 2004 Gallardo with 53,000 miles for just $76,500. That means these cars lose more than $12,300 dollars per year in depreciation. If you want to go even cheaper, just for the fact that you can tell people you “have a Lamborghini”, you can hunt around you can find used models from the 198o’s and 1990’s for even cheaper. However these older models are typically prone to service issues, and they loose most of their horsepower over the years. Regardless it is very possible to get a fairly newer Lamborghini for under $90,000 dollars, and you don’t need to tell your friends it is used.
