Is the FXX K the Most Extreme Ferrari Ever Made?

Ferrari FXX K

Ferrari has always been well known for pushing the envelope when it comes to performance sports cars and supercars. Throughout their rich history, they have always produced some of the finest automobiles in the world. Their vehicles are always extremely expensive, and the always have one flag ship model that is their best vehicle. Currently that is their La Ferrari which is a million plus dollar hybrid supercar. Well, it seems like they have topped that vehicle with the all new Ferrari FXX K, and it could easily be their most extreme vehicle of all time.

The La Ferrari is a pretty amazing supercar to begin with, and now Ferrari has made it even better. But hold your horses, there most likely will only be one of these vehicles and you can’t really “buy” it in the traditional sense of the word. Ferrari’s XX program is dedicated to ultra high-performance vehicles that are not street legal. These cars are sold to extremely wealthy people (Ferrari invites you to purchase one) and Ferrari only lets you drive them on their track. When you are done driving them, they hold onto the car for you for the next time you want to come back and drive it, under their supervision of course.

In addition to having the appearance that this car could sustain flight, the Ferrari FXX K is a hybrid-supercar that packs unbelievable power. It has both a massive V12 engine and an electric motor, both of which have been tuned to perform better than the La Ferrari. The combined power of the engines pump out an insane 1,050 horse power and an absurd 900 nM of torque. The car also produces 1,200 pounds of downward force at 124 miles per hour, making it an animal around the track.

Ferrari has not released yet how much this car will cost, but it is set to unveil at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi this upcoming weekend. The combined performance and appearance of this vehicle easily make it the most extreme Ferrari of all time.
