Does Floyd Mayweather’s Car Collection Rival Jay Leno’s?

Floyd Mayweahters Car Collection 4

Things are looking pretty good for Floyd Mayweather right now. As we all know, Mayweather came out on top over Manny Pacquiao in one of the most anticipated fights in recent years. While it maybe wasn’t the most show-stopping fight in the history of boxing, it was clear that Mayweather was the winner. Estimates from various sources indicate that Mayweather most likely made upward of $200 million dollars for just that fight alone. When you consider that, and given the fact that the man is worth around $330 million dollars, he has quite a lot of money to spend on things. So what are his favorite things to buy? Well exotic cars that is.

If you spend around thirty seconds browsing Floyd Mayweather’s Instagram page, you’ll quickly learn that he likes to show off his expensive belongings, most of which are automobiles. When you make as much money as Mayweather does, buying a $250,000 dollar Ferrari is like picking up something from the dollar store. Over his career he’s collected a considerable amount of premium cars. So how does his collection stack up to the likes of Jay Leno? Outside of Leno’s career, he’s a prominent car collector. Leno has over 160 cars in his collection and he often shows them off on the television show Jay Leno’s Garage. It’s hard to be as an avid collection of cars as Jay is, but many people try to come close. So how does Mayweathers collection fair against Jay Leno’s? Well in short, he doesn’t come close. Jay’s collection is arguably one of the most impressive in the entire world; it’s hard to beat him. But with that being said, Floyd Mayweathers collection is still absolutely amazing. Let’s take a quick look at some of the vehicles that Floyd currently owns or has owned in the past, and you’ll see why his nickname is “Money”.

In one of Floyd’s most recent Instagram posts, he shows us some of his cars that he currently owns (in front of his private jet of course). This picture gives you a great sense of just how much money Mayweather spends on cars. In the picture we see a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, a Porsche 911 Turbo S, two Ferrari 458’s, a Lamborghini Aventador, two Bugatti Veyrons, and a Bugatti Gran Sport. In total thats over $5.4 million dollars in exotic cars, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

In addition to having essentially all the best supercars on the market, Floyd also likes to drive ultra-luxury vehicles. In this picture we see his Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Bentley Mulsanne, and his 1996 Mercedes-Benz 600S. He also has a few other Rolls-Royce’s in his collection, for when he wants to drive a black one instead of his white one. Where does he store all of these incredible vehicles? At one of his multi-million dollar mansions of course. He keeps his white fleet of vehicles in Vegas, his silver fleet in Miami, and then all the all-black ones in Los Angeles. Seven of his cars in Las Vegas have a combined value of $15 million dollars, and the craziest thing is that he never even drives them.

Arguably the most prized vehicle in his collection would be his Ferrari Enzo. Only 400 of these vehicles were produced, and Floyd apparently dropped around $3.2 million dollars on his. The Enzo is one of the few vehicles that have actually increased in value over the years instead of depreciating since they are so rare and desirable. I mean, it’s the car named after Ferrari’s founder, so it’s obviously going to be pricey.

Fusion Luxury Motors - Obi Okeke and Floyd MAyweather

So where exactly does Floyd Mayweather get all of these cars from? He goes to his main guy, Obi Okeke (seen above) who goes by the nickname “Dr. Bugatti”, over at Fusion Luxury Motors in Chatsworth, California. Okeke has reportedly sold Floyd around 39 cars in total, including that prized Ferrari Enzo and three Bugatti Veyrons with a combined worth of $6.2 million. Okeke has said in a recent interview that Floyd called him one time at 3am asking for a new Bugatti Veyron that he wanted to take to the gym. 12 hours later Obi Okeke delivered that Veyron in California to Floyd’s home in Las Vegas. Talk about service right?

So while Floyd Mayweather doesn’t nearly own as many vehicles as Jay Leno, his collection is still pretty spectacular. The things is though, Mayweather doesn’t even describe himself as a “collector”, he simply refers to himself as just a fan of cars. It’s hard to put a price tag on his entire collection, but as you can see, Floyd Mayweather spends a lot of money on exotic cars. I wonder what car he will get to celebrate his win? I’m sure it won’t be long until we hear about it on his Instagram page. In the mean time, we can collectively sit together an be envious of his collection. I know I am.
