First Rolls-Royce Dawn Will Be Auctioned Off At Naples Winter Wine Festival

Rolls-Royce Dawn

Announced just earlier this year, the Rolls-Royce Dawn is the newest creation from the respected luxury automobile company. Rolls wanted to create an open-top convertible from the ground up, rather than just convert one of their existing models into a drophead version. So the end result was the Dawn, and it could be the most luxurious convertible in the world. Prospective buyers in North American can finally get ready to buy one, as the very first model for this market will be auctioned off at the Naples Winter Wine Festival according to their press release:

This January, one lucky bidder at the 16th annual Naples Winter Wine Festival will become the first person in North America to own the all-new Rolls-Royce Dawn, the most social ultra-luxury drophead ever offered. This stunning motor car is customized and Bespoked with an Arctic White exterior, Deep Red roof and contrasting Consort Red interior, paying homage to the wine that is at the core of the Festival.

The Rolls-Royce Dawn is one of the most anticipated high-end luxury cars to come out in recent years, and it should draw a large crowd at the Naples Winter Wine Festival that will take place from January 29th to January 31st of 2016 in the Ritz-Carlton located in Naples.

This particular Dawn is highly customized and it is estimated to be worth some $400,000 dollars. Still despite it’s high price tag, many believe that the Dawn will be one of the most successful cars from the brand. The vehicle features a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that delivers some 563 bhp and 575 lb-ft of torque in total. Combine that large and powerful engine with a beautiful design and all the luxury features that Rolls-Royce is known for, and you’ve got one of the nicest convertibles on your hands.

There’s no indication as to how much this Dawn will go for, but I would imagine that it will easily hit that $400,000 dollar mark, especially since the auction is for charity. We will have to wait until January to find out, but it won’t be long now until the first Rolls-Royce Dawn is out on the roads.
