Faraday Future Unveil An All-Electric, 1,000hp Concept Car

Faraday Future Unveil All-Electric 1,000hp Concept Car

The annual Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas is always a great event where we can get a glimpse of the coolest upcoming technology. In recent years, more automobile manufacturers have shown up, and this year a new player was on the scene: Faraday Future. Based in California, Faraday Future wants to be another major player in the all-electric automobile scene as they look to take on Tesla Motors and others. At CES 2016 they unveiled something big, their all-electric concept car that will deliver some 1,000 horsepower. They’re calling it the FFZERO1 Concept and it’s a car straight out of a science fiction film.

With it’s distinctive looks, advanced technology, and it’s powerful electric engines, the FFZERO1 Concept has made electric cars even more exciting. Faraday Future says that the vehicle will be a single seat electric supercar, designed completely around the driver. The predominantly carbon fiber vehicle will utilize four quad-core electric motors that deliver over 1,000 horsepower in total. According to them, we can expect a 0 to 60 mph time in less that 3 seconds and a top speed well over 200 mph. If those statements prove to be true, the FFZERO1 Concept will be one of the fastest all-electric cars ever produced. Additionally the car will also incorporate a few heads-up display, it’ll have an intuitive UI, and it can connect to your smartphone.

For now we will have to keep on waiting to see a fully-functioning vehicle as they are still a young company that’s still getting funded. However if the FFZERO1 Concept is moved into production, it will most likely be one of the most important cars released within the last few decades.
