Every Lamborghini Centenario Was Sold Before The Car Was Even Officially Unveiled

Lamborghini Centenario

Lamborghini’s latest creation, the Centenario, is arguably the best supercar that’s currently in their lineup. The vehicle was created as a way to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the companies founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini. Lamborghini pulled out all the stops for creating this car, however you cannot even buy it as every single model has already been sold.

Lamborghini officially unveiled the Centenario at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, but before it made it’s first appearance to the public, ever Centenario was already sold. We knew for awhile that Lamborghini was creating a car called the Centenario and that it was going to celebrate Ferruccio’s birthday, however the company kept most of the details under wraps. Which makes us wonder, who exactly got to buy this car?

Lamborghini only created just 40 Centenario’ in total, 20 coupés and 20 roadsters, so the odds of actually getting this $2 million dollar car were already quite slim. But even still, it looks like Lamborghini offered this car to a very select group on individuals rather than opening up the sales to anyone. Ferrari has done similar things as well like inviting only specific Ferrari owners to buy some of their limited-edition models. So if you actually wanted to buy this car, sorry, but you can’t.

And anyone would love to own this car. The Centenario features an all carbon-fiber design, a 770 hp naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, four-wheel drive, a seven speed gearbox, and a design that only Lamborghini could have created. The car can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and it tops out at speeds of 217 mph. It’s arguably the “best” car Lamborghini has created as of late, and it’s sad that only a very select few got the opportunity to buy one. I just want to know how you get onto the list of VIP clients that inevitable exists for releases like this car; that’s something you want your name on.
