Bentley is a staple name when it comes to luxury vehicles. The company is constantly putting out cars that are recognizable from far away with the classic square and many holed grill and headlight combination, but also because Bentley’s just have a smoothness about them that can be easily spotted. Convertible Bentley’s are extremely nice and are one of the most comfortable rides with the top down. Now the company is coming out with an exclusive convertible car; the Bentley Grand Convertible.

The all new Grand Convertible was revealed out in Los Angeles and is the newest luxury car from Bentley. The car was built on the same platform as the Mulsanne and is designed to directly compete with the (also amazingly nice) Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead. The Grand Convertible is currently just a concept design, but if enough buzz is generated at the LA Auto Show and Art Basel show, Bentley plans to immediately move the car into production.

The Bentley Grand Convertible uses the same engine as the Mulsanne, which is a 6.75 liter twin turbo V8 that packs 530 horsepower and has more torque than a Denali. Being able to deal with this much weight is no problem for the convertible, it will always feel and operate as smooth as usual. While this Grand Convertible does pack quite the power under the hood, Bentley’s have always been about comfort and style, which the new concept maximizes for the drivers.

Currently, there has not been a price announced with the new Bentley Grand Convertible, but expect it to be expensive when they do release more details. The Grand Convertible will most likely be very limited with a low amount actually produced. The car will easily be a desired collectible to enthusiasts everywhere, so be sure to get a request in as soon as possible and otherwise, stay on the look out for the latest updates.
