The Audi Prologue Concept Car is Cutting Edge in Technology

Audi Prologue

Audi has produced a bunch of awesome vehicles over the years, and they are just about to get a whole lot cooler. The Audi Prologue Concept was originally unveiled last year, however Audi again showed off this impressive vehicle this year at CES in Las Vegas. While it is just a concept car it does boast some pretty sweet technology packed inside. Let’s take a look at this car.

This awesome concept car is meant to show of what Audi has in store for the future, and that future is very cool. The vehicle has some distinguishably new design elements that we hope to see Audi adopt. On the front of the vehicle we find laser headlights. These laser headlights would be able to recognize on-coming drivers in opposing lanes, and then dimming themselves, but only for the area that the other car is traveling in. On the inside we find a large and flexible 3D L.E.D. display. This serves as the main interface for the car and is very cool.

Under the hood of the car we find a large 4.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that is borrowed from the S8. The V8 engine provides the car with 597 hp and 553 ft-lbs of torque. But the fun does not stop there. The Audi Prologue also has an electric motor that delivers an extra 72 hp and 147.5 ft-lbs of torque. The end result is an impressive concept car that Audi should be proud of. While there has been no official word, many people think Audi will make the Prologue the A9 at some point. That is just speculation, but the fact that Audi showed off the vehicle again at CES might mean they will make a production version at some point. Considering how cool this car is, we really hope that happens at some point.
