5 Luxury Cars that Offer Extreme Interior Comfort

Luxury Car Interiors

We have all heard the saying “it’s what’s on the inside that counts”, a saying which, is applicable to many different things including cars. Sure, a sports car could look incredible from the outside, but if the interior is cheap and the vehicle has an underpowered engine, it takes away a lot from the vehicles overall value. The interior of a high-end luxury or sports car is arguably one of the most important features of the vehicle. As the driver or the passenger, it is within this space that you will spend most of your time with your new car. So what if you could go all-out an a luxury car and get one that offers the most incredible interior spaces? Where would you begin? What would you buy? Let’s take a look at  a few luxury vehicles on the market today that have some of the nicest interiors to offer.

BMW 7 Series

The BMW 7 Series

Like the other “Big 3” automobile manufacturers from Germany, BMW has a extensive offering of different luxury vehicles. At the high-end of things, they have the impressive 7 Series sedan. With a starting price of $81,300 dollars, this is certainly an expensive car. It has all the BMW features you could want, but we are going to focus on the interior here. As you can see, the interior of the vehicle is extremely premium, elegant, and refined. The vehicle has two moonroofs, large rear seats, stitched leather, two LCD screens, plenty of leg room, and a media control system that is located on the center arm rest. Through this 7-inch tablet embedded in the arm rest, passengers can control virtual all aspects of the vehicle. As you will soon begin to see, these vehicles on our list are not necessarily cars that you drive, but cars that you are driven in.

Bentley Continental GT

The Bentley Continental GT

When you’re looking at cars that offer the nicest possible interiors imaginable, Bentley is a brand that comes to mind. They have always been known for their ultra-premium luxury vehicles, and their cars still offer some of the most attractive offerings. The Continental GT has recently just received a makeover, and it’s as nice as ever. Not only is this a great car to drive with its W12 twin-turbo engine, but it’s a great car to sit in as well. The interior here is as premium as it gets with cars. Bentley offers a range of different options for their interiors depending on a customers preferences, and all are extremely nice. Premium stitched leather seats, real wood trim, elegant dials and knobs, an advanced media system, seats that can be adjusted in a variety of positions, etc. I mean, it’s a Bentley that costs nearly $200,000, it’s going to have a nice interior.

Mercedes-Maybach S600

The Mercedes-Maybach S600

The Mercedes-Maybach S600 certainly isn’t the fastest or highest performing vehicle from Mercedes, but it is easily their most luxurious. This is a car that is meant to go up against the Bentley’s and Rolls-Royce’s of the world. The vehicle starts at $189,350 dollars, it’s very large, and it has a 6.0-liter biturbo V12 engine. While the specs are nice, the interior is where the incredible features are. This is a vehicle that you buy when you have a personal driver. The rear seats are large, comfortable, and offer a range of different amenities. Mercedes excels at offering a variety of cool features and options for their interiors. We’re talking about a car that has a small refrigerator for champagne, in-car WiFi, multiple LCD panels, a premium entertainment system, a cabin fragrance system, wood trim, and even cup holders that keep your drink either hot or cold, among other offerings. The Mercedes-Maybach S600 has pretty much every luxury feature imaginable, and riding in one is nothing but pure comfort.

Rolls Royce Phantom

The Rolls Royce Phantom Extended Wheelbase

Since we are looking at cars with luxurious interiors, obviously we have to include a Rolls-Royce. A tried and trusted name, any Rolls-Royce model is arguably one of the nicest vehicles that money can buy. The Phantom is typically the go-to car, but we are going to look at the Extended Wheelbase model. Since Rolls made this car larger, that means there’s even more room in the back. The vehicle starts at anywhere between $400,000 and $480,000 dollars depending on your order, and with their bespoke offerings, this car could potentially cost over $1 million easily. It’s the ultimate luxury vehicle and it’s pretty amazing. Everything is constructed by hand, the cabin is nearly as quite as a recording studio, the seats are large and comfortable, the ride is smooth, there are two 12-inch monitors, an advanced entertainment system, rear climate control, a small refrigerator, footrests, and much, much more. Rolls-Royce works with their clients to ensure that their vehicle is exactly how they want it. Really, no two Rolls-Royce’s are alike given the potential bespoke options that they offer. If you want the best there is, the Phantom Extended Wheelbase is nearly as good as it gets.

Volvo XC90 Lounge

The Volvo XC90 Lounge Concept

It would seem strange as to why we have a Volvo on our list, but we cannot ignore the new XC90 Lounge Concept car that the brand has recently introduced. There is a booming market over in China for luxury vehicles, especially ones that are meant to serve as chauffeur vehicles. Volvo designed this concept specifically for China, and it’s absolutely insane. They have complety removed the front passenger seat to make way for a “lounge console”. Now the rear passenger seat is essentially that of a private-jet, offering more room than any of the other vehicles on our list. The passenger can fully recline, put up a foot rest, open up a portable desk unit, interact with media on the 17-inch screen, and more. The seat has a built-in massage system, theres a small champagne cooler, a safe, compartments for shoes or jewelry, and a list of other features. While it’s just a concept right now, we’d love to see it hit production as it seems like one of the nicest luxury vehicles ever made.
