Every year we see automobile manufactures release new and improved models of vehicles that typically get better. Many car companies are also producing more SUV’s and crossovers as there is a strong demand for those types of vehicles right now. Don’t believe me? Take a look at all the car companies that are prepared to bring forth a SUV or crossover in the next few years. Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Tesla, and Bentley are just a few brands preparing to release an SUV or crossover. So with so many options out there, what are some of the nicest? We are going to take a look at our list of ten of the nicest SUVs (and large crossovers) that are currently on the market, or will be coming out later this year for 2015.

10. The BMW X5

The BMW X5 is a solid starting point for our list as it is a pretty good mix of luxury, semi-decent performance, size, and a good cost-value ratio. The base model offers a spacious, and luxurious interior and a 3.0 liter turbocharged, inline-six cylinder engine that delivers 300 horsepower. If that’s not enough you can bump it up to a V8. The X5 starts at $53,900 dollars and the nicest version starts at $70,100 dollars.

Yukon XL

9.  The GMC Yukon XL

SUV’s are typically some of the largest vehicles on the road, and if size matters to you, then the Yukon XL is a solid pick. It’s one of the largest SUV’s currently on the market and GMC describes it as a “Extended Full-Sized SUV”. The car is 18.6 feet long, it can fit nine people, and it has either a 5.3 liter V8 or a 6.2 liter V8. The SUV starts at $50,440 dollars.

The Nissan Juke is almost too small to be considered a full-sized SUV, but it’s definitely a small crossover/SUV type vehicle none the less. This car is different from others on our list as it’s not exactly a luxury vehicle, but more a fun one. The car is very affordable as it starts at $20,250 dollars. There are many different versions of this little 2-door vehicle and Nissan also offers an extensive list of customizable colors and options.

7. The Range Rover Autograph Black 

If you want one of the nicest and most luxurious SUV’s on the market that’s packed to the brim with features, and when price doesn’t matter, the Range Rover Autograph Black is for you. The vehicle costs $185,030 dollars and it is the largest, most powerful, most feature rich, and the most luxurious Range Rover that Land Rover makes. Only 100 are being made for the U.S. and it has too many features to list here; it as premium as it gets.

6. The Mercedes GLK 350

The Mercedes GLK 350 is a great introduction into the world of luxury SUV’s. The car is fairly-compact, sporty, and fairly affordable for a Mercedes at $37,900 dollars. Like all Mercedes you can add a bunch of options, but the base model is pretty nice with its 302hp 3.5 liter V6 engine.

5. The Mazda CX-9

The Mazda CX-9 is a great, all-round SUV that can handle a bunch of different things while remaining very affordable. You can pick the kids up from school in itor toe a small camper behind it. The CX-9 is robust, reliable, and is just an absolute great deal as it starts at $29,985 dollars.

4. The Audi Q7

the Audi Q7 is the companies most premium model of SUV and it is a solid mid-size, luxury SUV. It’s stylish, roomy, packed with features, and boasts decent levels of performance with its either turbo-diesel V6 engine or the supercharged V6 engine. The vehicle starts at $48,300 making it a very good contender for those seeking a luxury vehicle.

3. The Tesla Model X

While the Model X is not out yet, we should expect to see the vehicle released sometime within this year, if not early next year. The Model X will be the second mass-produced vehicle from Tesla and it’s their first SUV/crossover vehicle. The car is actually based on the Model S’s platform so we should expect similar performance but within a bigger package, making it a solid pick for an all-electric SUV.

Starting at $115,400 dollars the Mercedes G-Class is their top-of-the-line SUV. The design of the vehicle has been around for some time now and it is based on an Iranian military vehicle that was developed by Mercedes. These SUV’s are packed with features and considerable levels of performance. They are room, luxurious, and great high-end SUV’s.

The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is the companies most-expensive, most-luxurious, and highest performing SUV that they sell. The vehicle starts at $157,000 and one can expect one of the best SUV experiences that money can buy. The car is spacious, comfortable, stylish, and powerful. The Cayenne Turbo S has a large 4.7 liter V8 that gives the car 570hp, 590lb-ft of torque, and a blister fast 0-60mph time of 3.8 seconds. If you can afford it, it’s definitely one of the nicest SUV’s that money can buy.
