Now while everyone tells you that boats are bad investments, they still are incredibly enjoyable and are a worthwhile purchase if you live near a body of water and can afford one. So we are going to take a look at the top ten most expensive speed boats that are out there on the market.

10. The Chris-Craft Silver Bullet – $76,000

The Silver Bullet is a 20-foot vessel from the company Chris-Craft and it is a fairly standard speed boat. The boat not only looks really good, but it performs pretty well thanks to its large engine from Volvo that allows it to reach speeds of 60mph on the water. This American boat is also fairly limited as they company is only producing just 150 units in total.

9. The MasterCraft x46 – $114,940

The MasterCraft x46 is all about performance and speed, as it is primarily used for water sports like wake boarding or waterskiing. The boat comes in at 24-feet in length and it can fit 15 people in total. Depending on what you choose, there are a variety of different engines that can come with the boat, however the base engine is a Ilmor 6.0 liter V8 that offers 382hp. This boat is all about having fun, and it certainly excels at that.
