After all, if there was a real problem with it, don’t watch the shows and they’ll get cancelled, thus preventing some of these people from getting paid so much. Seeing how that hasn’t happened, though, you can bet that the ones who have built their brand with a certain persona have profited in a big way, as the richest reality stars of 2015 prove.

Known for his outrageous role on Duck Dynasty, Willie Robertson might not be the most outspoken person in his family, but he’s still capable of some great soundbites. One of the more popular TV shows over the past few years, Willie receives $1 million per season plus bonuses, up from the $50,000 he earned when he first appeared on the show.

She’s one of the biggest reality stars of the past couple of years thanks to numerous appearances, so it probably isn’t surprising to see Nene Leakes on this list. With the Real Housewives series expanding since first premiering in 2006, Nene has become one of its biggest characters, pulling in a cool $1.5 million per season in 2015, while also appearing on The Celebrity Apprentice a few years ago, too.

Kim Kardashian might be famous for a certain video, but her breakthrough has come thanks to the show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which has followed and documented her family’s life since 2007. Arguably the biggest queen of reality TV, Kim K has seen her empire expand tremendously over the years—as well as her bank account—with her bringing in millions through multiple outlets, as well as $1.6 million per season for appearing on her longtime TV show.

As a host or judge on a number of different cooking competitions, Ramsay has done quite well for his bluntness, as he is worth about $120 million and earns $225,000 per episode on his most popular show, Hell’s Kitchen, which comes out to a hefty $3.6 million per year.

One of the most famous country stars on the planet, Keith Urban hasn’t forgotten about his musical roots, but he figured he’d expand his brand by acting as a judge on American Idol back in 2012. While his $5 million per year salary isn’t the highest of the judges on the show, he is one of the biggest names on the panel, and seems to really enjoy his time critiquing hopeful musicians.
