15 of the Richest Celebrities Who Have No Fashion Sense

Justin-Bieber-bandana

You would think that some of our favorite celebrities, with all of their money and connections, would learn how to dress themselves properly. However, that assumption has been proven wrong over and over again, as entertainers continue to amaze us at what they’re seen strolling around town in or during award shows. Some of these people are just trying to break the mold, known for eccentric outfits. While others are just, well, missing the whole style eye. Even with tons of money, here are the richest celebrities with no fashion sense.

Mary-Kate-Olsen

15. Mary-Kate Olsen – $300 million

In the spotlight since she was an infant, Mary-Kate Olsen sure has grown up, hasn’t she? Now 28 years old, the former actress is known more for her designing and co-founding of luxury brands. But, when looking at her, one might get the wrong idea, because Mary-Kate looks more like a street bum most of the time than someone worth $300 million who is, supposed to have, fashion sense.

Peter-Jackson

14. Peter Jackson – $600 million

Much like the aforementioned Mary-Kate Olsen, Peter Jackson is typically seen rocking the whole hobo look, coming off as someone who is shopping from the bargain bin more than someone with an insane $600 million. A successful director, writer and producer, Jackson doesn’t seem to care what people think about him, often letting his hair go wild while walking around with an unkept beard.

Courtney-Love

13. Courtney Love – $150 million

You know how they say wine is better with age? In Courtney Love’s case, that’s definitely not the situation, because the lady has always lacked style. As I mentioned in the opener, some of these celebs play the part that the public expects them to be, and Love definitely seems to do so. Looking more like a Halloween costume anytime she walks out, few would guess she’s worth $150 million.

Kim-Kardashian

12. Kim Kardashian West – $65 million

Kim Kardashian West might be associated with high fashion thanks to her numerous modeling gigs and pictorials in magazines or online, but when you examine her style over the years, she’s actually slacking. I don’t know if it’s Kimmy’s lack of style on her own, or if someone is actually picking out her garb each day, but she doesn’t seem to put it all together unless she’s glammed up.

Cher

11. Cher – $320 million

It’s not that singer Cher doesn’t have decent style, it’s that she seems to go way overboard with it no matter the occasion. It’s one thing to like nice things and wear high-end designer clothes, but it’s a completely different thing when you’re a 68-year-old singer who looks like she’s either performing on-stage or dressed for a drag show every day. Worth $320 million, Cher might want to spend some of that on a personal stylist to help her out.

Katy-Perry

10. Katy Perry – $130 million

Trust me, singer Katy Perry is definitely one of my top-five ladies in showbiz. She’s sexy, bubbly and can sing. The problem is, every time I look at her, I can’t help but get a little weirded out, feeling as if I’m in some bad trip thanks to her heinous outfits. Bright colored and bubblegum-like, Perry has all the goods to look sexy, yet she chooses to go off-beat and dress like she’s still in middle school—even though she’s worth $130 million

Elton-John

9. Elton John – $450 million

Like the aforementioned Cher, singer Elton John is a living legend who is hailed by everyone within a few hundred feet of him. Still, as iconic as he Sir Elton is, he’s still lacking in one department—style. Worth an astounding $450 million, Elton would be best to tone it down a little bit from the flashy outfits that he wears all the time. Sure, he’s known for them on-stage, but walking to the corner market for groceries isn’t his stage.

Britney-Spears

8. Britney Spears – $220 million

One of the most influential singers of the past 20-plus years, Britney Spears is still out doing her thing, touring and staying in relevant as a host on the TV show X Factor. And with a net worth of $220 million, one would think that Spears would come out looking great no matter where she is. Not the case. Seen walking around sans makeup and wearing oversized sweatshirts, it seems that Brit could really care less how people see her when she’s in public. Or she’s just using it as a disguise so not to get noticed.

Nicki-Minaj

7. Nicki Minaj – $50 million

Like a few others on this list, rapper Nicki Minaj seems to be playing her part in dressing as people expect her to, not for what she really thinks is a good look. Still, that decision hasn’t exactly worked for her too well. Eccentric as they come, Nicki walks a fine line between sexy and raunchy. Along with her different hair styles and the need to, uh, show off her assets, Minaj seems to work a bit too hard to overdo it.

Russell-Westbrook

6. Russell Westbrook – $19.2 million

Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook’s style is one of the most unique the NBA has ever seen, with fans either loving or hating it. Known for wearing glasses without actual lenses in them and outlandish, short-sleeved button-downs, Russell might be worth $19.2 million, but his outfits would make you think he’s just wearing hand-me-downs from his grandpa’s fishing days.

Lady-Gaga

5. Lady Gaga – $110 million

When it comes to the most unique celebrity styles today, there might not be anyone more out there than Lady Gaga. Even when people know she’s going to wear something either controversial or off-beat, Gaga outdoes even herself, catching headlines for the outfit she dons. But, just because she gets attention, doesn’t mean that it looks good, often wearing things that are just ridiculous—remember the raw meat outfit? Worth $110 million, it might be time for Gaga to talk to a stylist about things.

Cara-Delevingne

4. Cara Delevingne – $3.5 million

She might be one of the highest-paid and most sought-out models on the planet, but 22-year-old Cara Delevingne isn’t always dressed to the nine’s when she doesn’t have a stylist getting her ready for a shoot. While absolutely stunning, Cara seems to give a big middle finger to the fashion industry on her days off, wearing oversized outfits and mixing trends that just make her look silly. Come on, you’re better than that.

Lindsay-Lohan

3. Lindsay Lohan – $500,000

Actress Lindsay Lohan used to be one of my all-timers. But, seeing how she’s fallen off recently, sadly, she’s dipped down my list. One of the biggest culprits for her decline? Her style. Never much of a fashionista to begin with, you would think that LiLo would at least know what looks good when stepping in public. Lindsay has proven she doesn’t, though, wearing gaudy outfits and studded hats that make her look, well, cheap.

Miley-Cyrus

2. Miley Cyrus – $120-150 million

Since releasing her album Bangerz back in 2013, Miley Cyrus has proven that she’s not the same girl who starred in the Disney TV show Hannah Montana. Look no further than her fashion as proof, either. Giving herself an extreme makeover in the style department, Miley regularly alters her hair and walks around wearing clothes that look like she shopped at Hot Topic. That might be good for those who listen to her songs, but not for someone worth between $120-150 million.

Justin-Bieber-stage

1. Justin Bieber – $200 million

I honestly don’t know what looks Justin Bieber is trying to go for. A mix between hipster and vintage, The Biebs walks around looking like a cartoon character all-too-often, blending different trends that just don’t look good together or are completely out of style. Whoever told the kid worth $200 million that a flat-bill with frames, a sweatshirt and eccentric, skinny jeans tucked into high-tops was the look to go for should be fired immediately.
