Wow, what a small town! This little Nebraska town has the lowest median household income in the state. In addition, less than 1% of residents have an income of over $200k a year. Red Cloud is also the only town in the entire state that has a median home value of less than $50k.

Red Cloud got its name from a group of local businessmen in honor of the chief of the Oglala tribe of the Teton-Lakota Sioux.
