This small town in southeastern Wyoming is the only town in the entire state where residents earn less than $50k a year. However, the poverty rate is significantly less than the state’s average of 11.1%. While residents may not be bringing in much money, few seem to face serious, significant financial hardship.

That might sound like good news in the grand scheme of things, but it still says a lot that even when a town has a poverty rate that is significantly less than the state average, the residents still have to work hard to make ends meet.
