$2.7 Million Aeternitas 4 Leads the List of Most Expensive Franck Muller Watches

'Unique Masterpieces' - Dinner at the Ledbury Restaurant

Franck Muller has been designing high-end “complicated” watches for more than 20 years.  Muller attended the Geneva  School of Watch Making where he was able to further develop his “exceptional technical talent.”  After months of development, Muller introduced his first wristwatches in 1983.  According to Muller his watches were unique and “had a complicated movement that had been created solely by himself.”  In 1991 he and fellow watchmaker, Vartan Sirmakes, founded “The House of Franck Muller” in Geneva, Switzerland.  During the early 90s the Swiss watchmaking industry was “in the midst of a crisis” with the introduction of quartz movement.  However, Franck Muller introdueced a bold new design with the Cintree Curvex, a watch which featured a curved body with three dimensions; something that had previously been unheard of.  Throughout the years Muller’s watches have been worn by celebrities including Demi Moore and Elton John.  While a Franck Muller timepiece may cost more than some people earn in a year, his products have proven that they are able to stand the test of time.  Here is a list of the five most expensive Franck Muller watches.

The hour hand jumps every time that the minute hand completes its revolution.”  However,  the watch’s technical “complications” still allow wearers to tell accurate time.
