Apple is the leading producer of electronics in so many different categories. However, did you know that Apple has decided to come out with jewelry? A watch may or may not be something that everyone considers jewelry, but it is something you wear and it’s something that Apple’s never done before. The iWatch is a new concept, and we know a few interesting things about it.
October is the Expected Release Date
The iWatch is expected to be made public in October, though this is just a projected date. Apple wants to release the product in late 2014, and October is the earliest possibility for the release. However, even if it takes longer, there are only two months after October.
It’ll Have Multiple Screen Sizes
Just like most of the other Apple products on the market, the iWatch is rumored to become equipped with multiple screen size options. This is great for those who appreciate being able to read small print on a small watch face. The exact sizes are not yet known, but rumor has it there will be several.
It Does Everything
Imagine being able to check your email, messages, texts and surf the internet from your wrist. It’s impressive to imagine this high-tech and futuristic concept. It runs on iOS, and while it will work independently as far as some features are concerned, others will require a compatible device.
It’s Being Tested by Celebrities
Rumor has it that Kobe Bryant is currently testing out the athletic ability of the watch. He’s also expected to become the face of Apple’s new jewelry line when the watch debuts later this year. As the company is beginning the mass production of the iWatch, Bryant’s job is to test its abilities to perform in stressful, highly active situations.
It’s Fashionable
Like anything Apple does, the company didn’t forget that people will not want to wear the iWatch if it’s not ‘pretty’. While we’re not sure what it’s going to look like, it’s expected to have a high-fashion design so that it appeals to the massages.
