The Most Exclusive Hermes Bracelets of 2014

Hermes

Founded in 1837, Hermes is one of the oldest and most exclusive designers in the world. The brand is so upscale that there is a waiting list so long for some of its most famous handbags that even the biggest celebrities in the world find it difficult to move up the list. Hermes is the epitome of upscale. It’s one of the only companies in the world that can place price tags so high on their items and still find that there is a long waiting list – sometimes lists that are years long – for each of its pieces.

Only a brand with a stellar reputation and a penchant for beautiful jewels and accessories can get away wth something like that, and Hermes proves that not just anyone has the ability to do what they do. While the brand is most well-known for its designer handbag that cost well into the millions depending on the bag, as well as their ties for men, many people tend to forget that the brand does produce other items, including jewelry. Bracelets are a popular item in the Hermes collection, and we have a list of some of the most exclusive, most high-end bracelets in the collection for 2014.

Collier de Chien PM – $53,700

This bracelet is a bit smaller than some of the other more expensive Hermes bracelets, but it’s just as fabulous in terms of bling. This particular bracelet features a white gold base with a grand total of 508 diamonds for a total weight of 4.06 carats. Diamonds work all the way around the thin strap of the bracelet, and it features a small knob with a little hoop on one side. This is a signature look for many of the bracelets in the Hermes collection. The Collier de Chien comes in many different forms and price ranges, though this is one of the most popular of the Collier di Chien family. There is one more that is a bit more exclusive and in-demand, but it’s a cuff and not a thin bracelet.

Kelly Crocodile Cuff – $62,500

Designed to look a bit like a belt, the ‘buckle’ of this gorgeous bracelet is designed with rose gold and diamonds. It has a bright orange crocodile band. The best feature of this adjustable bracelet is the fact that it features brown diamonds instead of your average clear diamond. Colored diamonds are much more rare and exclusive, which is why this particular bracelet is priced so high and so difficult to obtain. The Crocodile skin used to make this Kelly bracelet is the same that’s used to make a number of the handbags in the Hermes collection. It’s incredibly high-end and upscale, which is part of the reason Hermes is able to put such large price tags on their items.

Kelly – $100,500

Just one of the many Kelly bracelets in the famous line, this one is one of the more expensive bracelets. This white gold cuff features several diamonds and it’s adjustable so that it fits well on several different size wrists. The company does not list the carat weight of this particular bracelet, nor do they discuss the number of diamonds found on it. However, it’s one of the most popular bracelets in the collection, and it’s for good reason. For more than a hundred grand, this is the kind of bracelet you wear casually during the day and dressed up at night. It works either way, and it will maintain its classic appeal for decades to come. It’s the kind of bracelet you pass down from generation to generation to your daughters and granddaughters.

Collier de Chien – $142,000

This Collier de Chien is made of white gold, and it’s much larger than the other one listed here. It’s a cuff rather than a smaller bracelet, which means it uses more diamonds and more white gold. This, naturally, makes it that much more expensive and upscale. It’s adjustable so that it fits your wrist perfectly, and it’s not listed as one of the many bracelets that is often on backorder due to its sheer popularity. This bracelet is more than double the price of the other Collier de Chien pieces, and it’s because it’s much more than double the size. While bigger is usually described as something that’s not always better, it is in the case of this gorgeous bracelet.

Alchimie Rose Gold – $145,000

Made of rose gold, this gorgeous bracelet is unlike any other on the market. Its unique design makes it not only different, but exclusive. No other designer makes a bracelet like this one. The reason the price is so steep is the fact that this rose gold bracelet features 568 diamonds and has a total carat weight of 4.71. This gorgeous and expensive bracelet is so popular that it’s more often than not one that will face several shipping delays as it’s sold out and buyers must wait for more to be produced by the designer. This is just one of the Alchimie bracelets in the Hermes collection, and it’s the least expensive of the two.

Alchimie White Gold – $164,500

Made of white gold, this Alchimie bracelet is much more expensive than its rose gold sister. This bracelet features the same number of diamonds and the same carat weight, but the white gold makes it less trendy and more classic. This makes it more expensive as many of the people who choose to purchase a bracelet of his caliber want one that’s not going to be trendy and out of style in a few years time. They want something that’s going to withstand the test of time, which is one of the reasons the Hermes collection as a whole is so desirable; the timelessness of it. At the moment, this is the most expensive bracelet in the collection, though it’s not uncommon for bracelets from previous collections to raise more money as they become older due to the inability to obtain a piece of classic jewelry on a whim.
