Friends is undeniably one of the greatest and most successful sitcoms in the history of American television. Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, Friends originally aired on NBC from September 22, 1994 to May 6, 2004. Friends was originally developed in 1993 under the working title Insomnia Cafe and went through several rewrites and a title change before lasting ten lucrative seasons and achieving current syndication. Following the lives of six New York City friends, the show received positive reviews throughout its run and became one of the most popular sitcoms of all-time. Friends was nominated for 62 Primetime Emmy Awards and was named the seventh greatest show of all time by Empire Magazine. Below is a top five list of the stars of Friends arranged by net worth.
