Everyone always says that they want the fortune and fame like a celebrity has, but, if they should ever actually get there, complain about the fans who seem to be a little bit too in love with them. While it’s true there are some people who take their fanaticism a bit too far, when you read about some of the most strangest gifts that fans gave celebs, you might feel a bit more normal, because these are a bit much.

15. Ariana Grande – 42.5-pound Pumpkin
Ariana Grande has burst onto the scene in recent years, becoming one of the biggest pop sensations on the planet. Always dressed to the nine’s, Ariana gets love from fans both young and old. One fan, though, took things downright bizarre, sending her a 42.5-pound pumpkin from a guy named Tom Normandin. Maybe he thought she would turn it into a carriage and become his Cinderella or something?

14. Tom Felton – Adoption – Legal Name Change
Playing the villain in the Harry Potter movies, Tom Felton became an overnight sensation like many of the other young stars in the series. Known from his character Draco Malfoy who was a lover of the Dark Arts, some fans have approached him in real-life wondering if he would change his last name to Malfoy and engage in homemade potions and spells with them. Uh, OK…?

13. Zac Efron – Human Skin
Love him or hate him, Zac Efron has shown to have quite the funny side, starring in films like Neighbors and That Awkward Moment. With his charismatic personality and good looks that earn him tons of female fans, he is probably getting gifts all of the time. When he opened one piece of fan mail a couple years ago, though, he got something he probably didn’t imagine—human skin. In disbelief, he was literally left speechless—and definitely creeped out.

12. The Jonas Brothers – A Dead Shark
I don’t know about you, but receiving anything that’s already deceased is never a sign of appreciation. So when the Jonas Brothers received a dead shark a couple of years ago from a fan, I’m sure they thought they were either getting punked or part of some strange voodoo spell. They claimed the shark wasn’t very big, but still, that’s just weird, guys.

11. Anna Kendrick – Love Letter and Diamond Earrings
Since her role in Up in the Air, Anna Kendrick has seemed to become another one of America’s darlings, showing off how talented she is through films, Broadway performances and music. For as much as she’s loved, it was only natural that, at least, one fan would take things too far. Well, one did just that, as Anna received a love letter from someone professing their love and why the two should be together, along with some diamond earrings. Anna abruptly tossed them in the trash because she was a little bit too weirded out to ever wear them.

10. Pink – Cult Invitation
Already on the music scene for over 15 years, singer Pink has developed quite the audience thanks to some big hits in the early-2000s. With such a devote fanbase, it’s not surprising that she has encountered a few people who are a little bit out there. That was the case when, in 2006, she received a 16-page letter telling her she had been initiated into a cult, complete with a survival kit and instructions.

9. Harry Styles – Tampon
One of the biggest names on the planet thanks to being the lead man in the band One Direction, Harry Styles has picked up a lot of fans who just can’t help but love everything he does. While one would imagine gifts would be things like love letters and attempts at giving him phone numbers, he once got one of the most bizarre gifts ever—a tampon. Thankfully, it wasn’t used, but still, that’s pretty gross.

8. Emma Watson – Bibles
My main girl—and No. 1 celebrity crush—British actress Emma Watson is an absolute 10 and one inspiring young lady. In addition to her talent as an actress, Emma is known for being outspoken on gender equality and other societal issues. One fan believed she needed more faith in her life, apparently, because some people have sent Watson as many as 20 bibles, claiming that the Harry Potter series was un-Christian.

7. Jared Leto – Human Ear
No, that isn’t a typo. Academy Award winner Jared Leto actually did receive a human ear from a fan once, with a note that read, “Are you listening?” While this sounds ridiculous and more than just a little bit stalkerish, Leto actually kept the ear, even poking a hold in it and making a necklace with it. Wow, man.

6. Ke$ha – Teeth
Known for being a little bit out there, singer Ke$ha actually asked her fans to send her something creepy a couple of years ago, opening more than just a can of worms with what people might ship her way. Receiving more than 1,000 teeth as a present, the singer, of course, used them as art, even requesting for more from fans while she was in rehab last year—which the center quickly prohibited.

5. Robert Pattinson – Toothpicks
I mean, actor Robert Pattinson is British—who, generally, are perceived to have bad teeth—so maybe the fan who sent R-Pats a box of toothpicks was just trying to help him out? In actuality, after the star said he stopped smoking cigarettes, he began to chew on toothpicks to help with the oral fixation. For that reason, the fan wanted to save him a few bucks by supplying some to him.

4. Alice Cooper – Coffin
For more than 30-plus years, Alice Cooper has been a rock god, putting out memorable music and doing the absurd while on-stage. With a dark background and a certain edge to him as part of his act, fans of Cooper seem to have taken his character as a musician a little over the top, as someone actually sent him a coffin that was filled with the heart of a cat. Some folks really must believe in life imitating art, huh?

3. Halle Berry – Diamond Ring
One of the sexiest women in entertainment for over two decades, Halle Berry has been adored by men 20-plus year, making her someone who probably gets a lot of weird inquiries. Rather than normal guys getting to ask her on a date as if she were just another girl at the bar, though, Berry actually had a fan drop a full-fledged wedding proposal on her, complete with a diamond ring, too.

2. Dolly Parton – Baby
Arguably, the most popular song by Dolly Parton, her hit “Jolene” is still beloved by musicians and fans all over the world. One fan, though, decided to take the song’s lyrics to a whole new level, as they dropped off a baby named Jolene on the singer’s doorsteps back in the ’70s. Parton called Human Services to take the baby, with no knowledge of what happened to the poor girl afterwards. Hopefully, she ended up in a solid household.

In just a short amount of time, Taylor Swift has swiftly become the most charismatic celebrity on the planet, known for dancing like a teenager as a spectator during performances at awards shows and, seemingly, doing everything right. With so much exposure and love coming her way, one fan thought they’d send her something to thank her for being her. So when she got a turtle shell with her face painted on it, she probably laughed hysterically—but was a little bit weirded out, too.
